Reflections
The decision by SC to uphold the DAR decision to implement land distribution under CARP is fair and just. But compensating HLI for only PHP 40,000 per hectare is a little bit disturbing. In efffect, HLI was made poor by this decision; and the farmers richer (there is a wealth transfer which could be unfair and could provoke clash of clans: Cojuangco vs SC/Corona)
Expect the escalation of hate between PNOY and SC/Corona.
