Will have better cops and soldiers with higher salaries? That is the hypothesis - is it happening? No!!!!

It is more fun criticizing

The past president has urged govt to raise the salaries of soldiers and and cops  The hypothesis, the given objective was that it woud raise their morale and the  financial need now filled with higher salary will dissuade them from committing crimes.   But this did happen.

The frequent reports:

1.  That a certain Sgt was involved in extortion;
2.   A sergeant shot a lola dead
3.   High level officials involved in
      1  High volume drug recycling
2  Murder of his alleged  paramour
3  Prison officials in many cases
4.   Petty crimes by low level soldiers and cops.

This happened after salaries were increased   What happened to the theory hypothesis:   higher pay means higher morale

Our officials must set get examples and reform their values and norms so that in general our security officers especially the top guns would set good example

Sovereign (maharlika) fund time has not come

It is more fun criticizing

The said proposal seem to be a pet project of the Chief Executive and son    Its legislation and implementation seem to be ill timed:

1.  High level of debt  (P13+ trillion -  $240 billion
2.  Poor investment climate - world wide recession and inflation
3   Losses of of many investment funds, including those of experienced nation

Let us wait for the right time

Pervasive contradictions (dialectic) in mindsets and society

It is more fun criticizing

The long existence of the progressive blocs (the leftists) have affected the way our people think and as seen on the comments on the daily news:  (The theory of diaectics at work  Only conflicts move the  world)

1.   We would like to see more  benefits to the producers (farmers) and yet we want to see lower retail prices for their produce (like palay)

2.  People would like more ayuda but comment negatively on the high level of debt.  We can not have both.

3  People would like to rid the govt of corruption, yet persistently wants those in power to give their personal needs -  food shelter, medical, and even delivery of their babies.    The poor govt official has
no choice except to make illegal source of funds to assist constituents

4  Drivers want lifting of excise taxes and yet we want govt to continue giving services, higher wages for govt employees  Lifting excise tax would mean loss of P1.3 trillion according to a source (about 20% of budget)

Can we have both?    Or they are mutually exclusive

Most corrupt in the Philippines

It is more fun criticizing

The article pinpoints an infrastructure department and govt units through out the country being the most corrupt.    We seem unable to control this.

We agree based on our experience to get permits and approvals.   God bless their souls

Is there divine justice? Do people believe in it?

It is more fun criticizing

When we reach the limit of our patience and understanding of justice by men, we look up to Divine intervention and justice.

1.  We do not need to look very far as in neighboring second largest economy located in Asia  which  has made life difficult for our fisherman, driving them away from their traditional fishing grounds.   What has happened to their country.

    1.  About 90% of their population is infected with Covid19;
    2.   Unknown number has died;
3/  Firms which used to do the manufacturing in the country are leaving in droves because of
            1.  Desertion of employees of their work due to pandemic
            2.  Anti big tech policies, anti business Communist Party

2.   A number of employees we had who stole company money unexpectedly died.

3.  The eldest daughter of a City  Officer died after he stopped interments in an approved memorial park.    A wealthy man was shot to death maybe due to a business scam.   But he was known to have caused difficulties for the dead in a right of way squabble.

Some people take laws in to their hands for double cross.   We were in effect scammed by a City Govt official for asking us for several millions but the paper he gave us was dishonored by another govt agency.    Well he has brand new kidney.  Isn't that Divine Justice

Why are there so many corruupt and bad officials abound, even if your mission is to do good

Trillion dollar notes at Zimbabwe which is virtually worthless

It is more fun criticizing

A former classmate boasted in a reunion because he is a millionaire.  He worked in an African country
and earned in their currency millions

Of note is Zimbabwe whose currency is in trillions.  Because of fiscal mismanagement, there is a a 23 million %  hyper inflation. and solid currencies are beginning to be used.  Use of dollar pound has resulted in 0 inflation and even deflation.

A trillion currency is worth $0.40.

Can  you believe?  Worthless currency at Zimbabwe

Cause of Zimbabwe's hyperinflation.

The cause of Zimbabwe's hyperinflation was attributed to numerous economic shocks. The national government increased the money supply in response to rising national debt, there were significant declines in economic output and exports, and political corruption was coupled with a fundamentally weak economy.Dec 7, 2022

The name of the game is grass roots, popularity rather than progress

It is more fun criticizing

A very popular senator who makes waves in the august halls of the government for espousing populist issues rather than legislating (as his job is) for the good of all and progress of the country  He and other politicians are just endearing himself/themselves to the voters,   The sense of nation building has vanished, but only pro poor policies, social welfare abounds.

We wonder as as Sen Rand in US speech whether being pro sector of society is unconstitutional, as is donation to private parties (that is what social welfare is about)

Thats what past administration did.   In the process, this resulted in  huge debts and deficit to the government.  And now everybody criticizes the past administration for huge debts....

Have we not learned lessons from pro poor population of Venezuela.    This created huge problems for the monetary system.   A big mac costs 17 million something

Last Monday we had a scheduled meeting with a VM of city in Calabarzon.  We were not entertained at the appointed time because the good official had to attend to his constituents and supporters.  We were seeking an approval that would up tax collection and employment in the city

Violation of community standards at SocMedia

It is more fun criticizing

This post is rather disappointed with the ruling of banning for 30 days  of soc media account.   This post brings in hundreds of thousands in view and what could have been a violation is merely reposting from the same platform, articles from other pages.

They should have eliminated these accounts and blocked the articles

Some name hospitals forgot the medical oath, more interested in PHP

It is more fun criticizing

After Christmas, after checking out of hospital, my partner experienced LBM.  It was her mistake to go to ER of a big name hospital in MM   She was admitted as Covid +   Then they recommended and ask for our consent to administer REMDI

We advised her to say we do not have PHP.   4 days after, she was released and her tests for covid showed her to be negative

Her hospital billl after mere 4 days was over P100,000.

Did they make a mistake?   Or they merely want the PHP.

How could they?

Onionconomics - how come?

It is more fun criticizing

Onions reached an all time high price of P600 which it was reported, was higher than that sold in Switzerland

We wonder why this is happening despite the support of DA, no less than the President heading the department, low farm gate prices of  P15 to P50.  It can only be said that profiteers which could be a cartel are behind this  Traders   They are giving businessmen a bad name.

How come DA, and DOJ, DTI seem to be helpless to counter this, with all the trappings of power bestowed on them.?  Mr President, hanggang speeches na po lang???

We are all victims - the farmers and the consumers  How could this have happened

This post happened to stay for a while in Palayan and Bongabon and onions are  plentiful in this area   Of late onions were said to be rotting in southern Occidental Mindoro

How can we have starvation amidst plenty.    ?

How come we haves countrymen who can heartlessly put profit above their countrymen   ?  Do they still believe in God and heaven.

Naman.  Naman

Karma, comeuppance for China

It is more fun criticizing

That China has been experiencing the following:

1  Dire economic situation (defaults failed projects in their provinces)
2. Exodus of big name companies from China as manufacturing base;
3.  The high rate of covid infection in all of China

may be viewed as a karma comeuppance for their imperialistic moves in the Philippines -  setting up of bases in islands in WPS, driving away our fishermen in our own territory.

May God bless them and make them realize that they have been making mistakes

Involvement of security forces senior officers in drug business

It is more fun criticizing

Senior police officer's courtesy resgination requested by Sec. Abalos

Sec. Ben Hur Abalos asked for courtesy resignation of generals and colonels stemming from allegations that some are involved in illegal drug trade.   Azurin and some NCRPO senior officers are taking the lead.

It is very disturbing  that abuses and corruption are rearing their ugly heads in an office where salaries and pay of the staff have been upgraded.  More pay is not the answer but honor and virtues are important

No more duty, honor country pledge?

Enriching self, self preservation comes first?  Does this happen in a professional organization

Should we abolish PNP which is supposed to serve and protect?   Anyway we have many security agencies.    Let us privatize PNP rather than maintain a force that bites the hand of the owner

                                                             Umuuli?  Nakasuhan ba?

What caused the air traffic control system to fail? - wrong voltage hahaha?

It is more fun criticizing

The air traffic snafu which affected 55,000 air travelers and cancellation of 300 flights - disruption of
airline business and less tourism business (vans, tourist guides, hotels were attributed (excusers and escape goats) to:

       1.   Diversion of P12 billion budget for upgrade of Air Traffic  system to cosmetic changes
             at the airport
       2.   Meralco
       3.   Outdated system

Many see these as flimsy alibis:

      1.  Tugade denied that he ever committed the diversion of budget
      2.  Meralco announced that there was no voltage fluctuation at the area
      3.  The system is being updated automatically by the vendor.   Besides, it was working well prior
           to alleged power failure

What really caused the system failure?
The cooling system fan conked out and somebody plugged in the 220 volt system to 380 volt
Hahaha.    Heads must roll for this incomitance.

Discipline and strict adherence to procedure is a must for this critical operations.  Back up personnel
back up UPS is a must.   Even tetser for voltage testing?   DOTR and/or CAAP have not provided for that

Even a big event failure like Chernobyl was attributed by someone who failed to observe the corrrect procedure for the shutdown test.

PBBM playing safe, a speech maker

It is more fun criticizing

Now it can be told.  PBBM is speech making ceremonial President.   He plays it safe, speak very seldom to the press and can be present only when making speeches.

Not much action not much controversy

How could some businessmen be so profit conscious, denying sugar and onions to our kababayan at fair price

It is more fun criticizing

How could onions be so expensive in a place where onions abound?    How could sugar be so expensive
in a country that was a net sugar exporter before?   Where sugar cane grow like weeds in Panay Negros Island in Batangas, Tarlac and  Pampanga

How come Kadiwa can sell onions at P160.00.  They come direct from Nueva Ecija

This does not give nor endear businessmen to countrymen and God.

Maawa naman kayo.

Extension of libreng carousel pasahe

It is more fun criticizing

Many commuters have been clamoring for extension of libreng carousel pasahe which could reach up to P75.00 from PITX to Monumento    A huge savings for commuters and huge outlay for govt offices

From where do we source this?   Govt revenues, or loans.

It hurts from point of view of taxpayers that we are fast becoming a social welfare state.  A formula for doom and debt default as in Venenzuela.     It hurts to pay even a P1 in taxes and yet some people have to the gall to ask for more libre.  Hindi nasisiyahan at nagpasalamat nakaraang libre.

Hindi dapat iaasa sa gobyerno.  Dapat magsikap at magtrabaho
