We must own the responsibility for the mistakes of current dispensation

A lot of criticism has been thrown against the current dispensation on the following:

1.  Handling of covid19
2.  Control of corruption
3.  WPS issue
4.  Selection of and maintenance of senior govt officials despite ineptness
5.  Financial management - too much debt, too much (uncontrolled expenditures)

and many many more.

If the person concerned dont want to take responsibility, the people who elected him/them must own the responsibility and wise up.

Early this week, I saw how enthusiastic the security officer were in haranguing citizens for:   non wearing of face mask and face shield in a market place, inconsiderate herding of customers of a financial institution   (as if we were negotiating for an ayuda)

Eh bakit nakafatigue ang police?  May giyera?  Vs its own citizens?

Today I saw large congregation of:   parents enrolling their children (the line extending several blocks and into interior streets) and  people waiting at a barangay (for an ayuda)   Why cant we mail the check or credit the amounts to their bank accounts.  To avoid the crowding.  There are various platforms to do this.
And now we wonder why cases are not going down?  The govt agencies conduct activities that foster crowds and physical contact.   There is no need for police to be rude and harsh,   We are not the enemies.

Non recognition of realities in the midst of pandemic; ranting and demagoguery continues

The news about Labor Day speeches are disappointing, and  are merely rehash of politicking issues and do not recognize reality:

1.  Despite the the  loss of jobs, labor groups continue to flex and ask for more -  rights of workers and wages when there are no jobs to speak of in the first place

2.  The govt giving wage subsidy and grants to SMEs;  this is rather unsustainable amidst low consumer demand, lack of purchasing power.

The solution can not be forced;  it will take time 3 or 5 years to recover.   For the govt to continue the  subsidy, it needs taxes.  But who and when will the taxes be paid.  Companies, even the bigger ones see huge drop in revenues in net income, from 50% to negative.

Now is not the time to talk about old political issues when times were normal;   as of now mentioning them is either an inanity of grandstanding.

3.  That the protests continue in violation of health protocols display lack of appreciation of efforts to curtail growth of covid19 cases that continues to worry us because of thousands being infected daily.
