We admire the demeanor of the Pres Spox.  It takes a lot of guts answering a lot of difficult questions day in and day out from inquisitive reporters who sometimes crosses the boundaries.   

The answers range from vague to one that goes in circles or ones that do not answer the question

Or one that skirts the issue.  "Am just a spokesman"am not privy to....

This also applies to various departments spox.    And sometimes we think that it is a waste off time watching these press con"

One such confusion is discussion of the vaccine:

1.  Vaccine is not 100% effective;

2.  Vaccinated  people can still get it and infect others;

3.  Vaccines are  not effective for a long/infinite time.   

That is why many dont want to be vaccinated.   

No need to downgrade our efforts in fight vs covid19

Many have been crying for the dismissal resignation of a cabinet secretary for alleged failure to contain covid 19

But not so quick.  We should congratulate him and the team for the following:

1.  Testing

2.  Wearing of face mask; observance of health protocols

3.  Containing the spread an number of deaths.

4.  Increase of health facilities:    quarantine and isolation facilities.

There are rough edges but we are not entirely laggards in fight vs covid19

Philippines used  to have the highest number of cases.

Other countries which boasted on few cases are facing surges, 2nd or third wave:   Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, Korea.

How could human beings be so inhuman and be savage towards one another.

Exampleas re suicide bombings near the Kabul airport, and others are summary execution of may be pro American Afghans.   

And that comes from a religion professing peace.   (Is it?)

That the hospitals threatened to disengage from Philhealth is bad all ready.

The statement of the current Philhealth Chief fmr NBI head does not augur well that sooner, the problem will be fixed.  His statements before an inquiry reeks of power play, drama, rather than solution to the problem.  The guy is selfish.

The lawyer boss and NBI boss are used to wield power and might .  Woe unto you who cross their path.  Maging solution oriented  sana during the pandemic when everybody's help is needed most.  

Health workers, frontliners as heroes?

It used to be now more.

When the health workers group, and even for the  right reason threatened to go on mass resignation because of non payment of SRA and other wages, that adulation of heroes no longer ring true.

Heroes mind others before themselves.   They observe "Primus Non Cicere" Not to mention just observing their creed to be in the  service of others as Florence Nightangle

They are all the same.  Its all about money.   Nothing distinguishes them to the politicians who just want money.   

Their leaders put the rest of health workers in bad light.

Where is  Christianity Where is love of country.   There could be no love of  God without love of country.

It is fun watching the noises and drama prior to filing of candidacy.

Some of my observations:

1.  Despite the noise and the  show of family feud, it is still going to be Sarah D, and Digong D,  The fireworks are merely to throw off the opposition off guard.  Digong  is still the master politician.   

2.  Ping and Tito Sotto looks like a tame combination but not winnable

3.  Manny Pacquiao makes good in the ring (and even more so lately) but not good enough to be the Philippine President.

4.  The  current VP and her party are too weak to launch a meaningful and winnable campaign.

5.   DD needs BBM support in Luzon the  vote rich Region 1 (as he probably done so in the last election)

      So a BBM DD combination? BBM needs to strengthen the  hold on govt politics and stage a comeback.
