This post would like to think that the latest witness (not from DOJ) presented today at the Congress was the most damning testimony vs former officials of govt in charge of NBP:
1. That he gave a total of P10 million to the higher ups, some of them directly, and the others in the office of then Director Bucayu (who denied any involvement or knowledge of the trade)
2. That he had conversation with the SOJ 7 to 8 times
3. That he gave money through the bagman Joenel Sanchez. Joenel Sanchez who is also a witness is the confirmed closed in security and driver of former SOJ
4. He confirmed that the drug money gathered during the Dec 2014 could be between P200 to P300 manok since it is common for the drug lords to have P10 to P20 million in their kubol (this was confirmed by testimony of Magleo and others? Durano too. Some of those who participated in the raid would seem to agree. Who is telling the truth? If true who partook of the largesse?)
5. That the SOJ had knowledge that the source of money given to her came from drugs. That she is part of the drug trade can not be assumed but that she is aware that there is drug trade, and her role may be that of the protector
6. He is quick to point out that they pay the jail guards to bring in contraband, cash, etc. (not lagay)
7. He could have earned P30 to P50 manok during the entire career as engaged in drugs But he financed many improvements at NBP, as fixing the dormitory, tennis, basketball courts. He only gives his family earning from Piso Net.
8. He must have used 50 to 100 accounts to pay his sources and he does not know who own them. The log could be in the compound or his cell phone. He promised to look for the account # so that DOJ can investigate them.
9. You cant conduct the drug trade without cell phone. The NBP 19 were still able to conduct drug trade at NBI because they had CP. Drug trade continues because of cp even though they are in jail. The drug lords can continue calling when the jammers are turned off.
10. The sources of drugs are China and North Korea (to finance the nuclear power projects)
11 He denied being a government asset at NBP as claimed by the former SOJ.
12. He said that the most powerful man at NBP is Herbert Golangco, not he.
Jaybee has been very consistent in his declaration, very fluent and educated. and thus the congressmen noted that indeed he could be the real leader in NBP.
13. He denied that the raid was conducted to remove the 19 at NBP (as declared by Magleo) so that Jaybee can corner the drug trade.
14. That of the NBP 19, he knew all but 2.
