From Philvolcs - Swarming of Earthquakes in Batangas
Lately there has been a clustering/swarm of earthquakes around the Philippines: Samar, Ilocos Sur, Davao, Surigao and Batangas, mostly at least 6.00 in magnitude. We had destructive Bohol earthquake too.
So while Philvolcs retract the warning of a BIG ONE, we should not be lulled into believing it wont come. It will come; just like in the Bible, we do not know when and where. We just have to be prepared. Long time ago, I listened to this Punong Bayan warning, and decided that I will not go high rise nor buy more properties near the West Valley fault line. I did not become very rich, but I will have nothing to worry about:
Some fall outs:
1. More sales of TO GO bags. Somebody started that business at SM Megamall. Have you bought your TO GO bags all ready.
2. Many will be selling their condos at high rise buildings
3. Condos of high rise will be HARD sell
4. Horizontal projects will be saleable again
5. Palawan properties will be in demand, because according to experts, there is no fault line near or around Palawan
