                                                         Sapol na sapol perfect timing

From Inquirer

An alert photographer Melvin Anore was able to take picture of fmr. Pres FVR spitting globules of water at a group of photographers at EDSA People power celebration .  FVR was the lone VIP at the said celebration.

What do you/we think?   Can he do that?   Is that being respectful? Or an act unworthy of a gentleman.  (PMA ba siya -  Duty Honor Country?)

What is a man: an angel or devil?

Much has been said about man:

1. He both flesh and spirit;

2.  He is both an animal but with capability for thinking (and even conscience)

3. He has a freedom of choice: to be both good and bad, and even God cant do anything about  that freedom.

Is he angel or a devil?

All these years we struggle with education and catechism, to level up mankind to be an angel and  indeed do great things:  invention, caring for others, lessening pain, helping those in need, advancing mankind and good deeds

But then again, the animal in man persists:

Minor:   indolence, chismis, traffic violations, being selfish, jealousy, avarice gluttony

Major:  sodomy, murder, robbery, kidnapping (we see gory picture of children being mutilated, people being beheaded,)   How come these things persist.

What is worse is that there is religion supposed to be the kindest of all religion that espouses killing of non believers in their God.

That is saddening.   Always be careful brethren of the enemies and devils that roam amongst us.

Image result for parking in front of driveway illegal in the Philippines

Progress has come to our place.  A vacant lot in the corner of the street in the subdivision has become a venue of events a resto and a videoke bar?  A lot of cars park near our house  and sometimes in front of our driveway. That is quite discomforting  because of security issues and mobility (in case you want to bring your
vehicle out of the garage.

The question is can you take legal action or prohibit/prevent some one from parking that blocks your driveway?

Answer:   it is illegal at the rest of the world and even in the Philippines.  It is illegal for you to block your own driveway.   Two laws specifically prohibit such:

1.  Section 46 of
RA 4136 LTC (LTO) Law
Section 46. Parking prohibited in specified places. - No driver shall park a vehicle, or permit it to stand, whether attended or unattended, upon a highway in any of the following places:
(a) Within an intersection
(b) On a crosswalk
(c) Within six meters of the intersection of curb lines.
(d) Within four meters of the driveway entrance to and fire station.
(e) Within four meters of fire hydrant
(f) In front of a private driveway
(g) On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the curb or edge of the highway
(h) At any place where official signs have been erected prohibiting parking.
