On impeachment: commentaries (not conclusion)

It is more fun criticizing

This post concerns commentaries regarding the "pasabog testimony"  of the last witness for the Art. IV of the impeachment vs VP Duterte.

The testimony of the star witness was considereably weakened and holes found (not enough evidence and or preparation?

1.  The continued answer of the good director saying he has direct personal knowledge of the investigation made by the agents, and previous to his appointment.    He has therefore impeached himself as a credible witness for being a hearsay witness  (Article 130 Section 22 where Vinluan reviewed the 29 year law veteran on the subject) , and admitting that his wife, a congresswoman (who sponsored the impeachment

2.  Pia Cayetanos pointing out that the good director was not 100% truthful in his communications regading the Senate GSIS

3.   The director was not subpoenaed but merely invited by the  prosecution

4.  The continued effort and as objected to by the Prosecution to make legal conclusions on the facts presented as with the Kapunan speech.    The Chief Judge continued to remind the prosecution ot stop making conclusion on the evidence presented.   It is for the Court to decide. The NBI director, it would seem did not stop to make conclusion.   It is often the danger to invite a judge, a DOJ employee to make judgement as they are asked questions in the court

5  While the prosecution maintained that it is not a court proceeding, nevertheless, the rules of evidence was in effect.

6.  The Prosecution does not seem to have enough solid evidences, nor proponderance as was the request ot subpoena bank records.

The Lascana affidavit was neither signed nor notarized

When is somebody an expert? - you need 10,000 hours experience

It is more fun criticizing

10,000 hours to be an expert

In the current impeachment trial, some personalities were presented as experts.   "forensic expert"  It turns out that the said witness only spent two months in the field

As per Malcolm Gladwell in his book "Outliers"  you can only be considered an expert when you have been exposed and spent 10,000 in the said field (or roughtly 10 years.

We should be more careful in using the term

Impeachment cross examination of witnesses - a masterclass in logic, being detailed, and critical thinking

It is more fun criticizing

Some people including some senators are shrugging off the nitty gritty of cross exam of the witness, saying its useless (and further triggering off lawyers vs non lawyers in the chamber conflict)  However, for me, as studenet of logic and critical thinking, this hearings just like Corona case are living example of fine thinking:   logic, critical thinking.

So far, yesterday, with cross of Atty Vinluan the defense, tipped the balance of facts in favor  of the defense, if this post may give an opinion:

1.  Unsigned unverified affidavit and comparing this with ICC;

2.  Hearsay prior to the appointment as NBi director and yet makes comment on the investigation report
That further weakens the affidavit of agents which mas made prior to his appointment.   Without             ownership..

3.  Presumed bias due to

     1.  The wife is a congresswoman who endorsed the impeachment
     2.  Theh witness  has a column which has negative view of the person being impeached

4.  The witness was not subpoenad, but volunteered

5.  The witness did not answer on yes or no but argues (and thus leads the court)  and makes his opinion
(to sway court).  Not being called out by the court?

6.  Continuing investigation.   Therefore the affidavit of investigation  being incomplete cant constitute valid and legal evidence vs the perosn being impeached

This post does not intend to sway nor influence the outcome of said proceeding but merely points out the defects in logic, and education on critical thinking.  However this is weak day for the prosecution.

However I want to take advantage of the billions being spent on this proceeding to benefit my self improvement and continuing education

However, the agents of the bureau committed typo errors weakening their testimonies.  And their credibility.  (Not to mention their pending cases)

Move on or walk on in the floodwaters?

It is more fun criticizing

Should we now ignore the floods, move on away from flood control scandals?  These videos are grim reminders that that pronouncement could be misplaced?  Arent the floods paralyzing traffic, commerce and daily life of citizens.

What will be priority if you cant work, and the economy stands still because of the flood (that should be mitigated due to misplaced and/or stolen billions?)

Historic wage increase of P85.00 or 12% can hurt the BSP efforts to control inflation

It is more fun criticizing

DOLE secretary  Tolentino announced an P85.00 salary increase for MM, or a historic 12.22%  (P85/695).  The BSP head is worried about its impact on inflation that it is trying very hard to control (now currently at 7%).    A certain employers sector is worried too about the accompanying productivity that the said increase would produce.   Without an accompanying productivity its bound to produce additional woes to all ready bad situation:     inability to meet GDP growth target, loss of jobs (23%),
rising prices (expect more of that), downgrading of PHL by Fitch.

Before our concern was providing jobs but wages that are in the near P20k will be difficult to sustain.  Employers will cut back and resort to mechanization and automation  Surely, AI is here to assist in this difficult situation.   Employers can manage, but what about the workers.  Every solution produces its own problems (11 laws of systems principles) and this post expects this to be managed well.

Visayan pirates marauded China in 11th century AD; lets bring them back

It is more fun criticizing

Whose afraid of the Chinese now.   (Yes they are our friends.  They too should be friendly too with us)
Gone were the days when the Visayan pintados attacked their villages.    May the spirit of the ancestors guide us in these difficult times    That the said people want to dominate us.    They should be the one who should be cautious

We share the same plight during typhoons and other disasters (earthquakes) being neighbors.  Some of the richest in the PHL came from China, including the current SP.

They rode on boats called balangay.

This was during the time of Song dynasty (They were right about  ancestors of Cong Sung Tay ha6)

Does this mean that PHL before has conquered China (in particular Visayans?)

Manila DND chief dismisses scholars claim that Batanes is part of China

It is more fun criticizing

There is a recent claim by Chinese scholars that Batanes is part of Chine. The DND DFA have all ready denied and disagreed with this claim.  The soc media is filled with funny comments regarding this latest claim Some parties claim that China is a province of the Phil and probably part of greater Binondo.

The Chinese are good people and only those in the military or those who are agressive and are hawks hav ethis opinion,  Chinese are good people, love good food, are intelligent and reasonable.  We share the same typhoons, and flood  and we take pity on those affected by typhoons that hit the PhL too.   No time to trade barbs on petty things...

Typhoons and the Senator suggestion that we leave flood control invetigations alone; isnt flooding a major concern?

It is more fun criticizing

Typhoon Inday  (Intl name Fung Wong)  is throwing the entire country into a floodbath (not blood bath) and showing  proofs of neglect of the flood problem and why really there could be corruption  The money drawn and spent did not go to flood control projects.  The billions went elsewhere , otherwise it would not be as bad as this.

We had 9 past Presidents who were lawyers, 2 were bar topnotchers... and now our President is....

It is more fun criticizing

We had 9 past Presidents who were lawyers and two were bar topnotcher.   Cong Dadong and Manuel Roxas.  Our President now is....

How did we put him in office?.  Now our country belong to the dogs.   We are wallowing in the dregs of floods and corruption.

We cant blame anyone.  We elected him fair and square.  But later on lets learn and elect capable and inteligent good President.  Not   like this one...

Resumption of hostilities in Iran; what it means to the world?

It is more fun criticizing

Pagsasanay sa Critical Thinking, review sa impeachment trial

It is more fun criticizing

1.  Tama ba ng mga sinasabi?  I compare mo sa actual.

2.  Tama ba ang hypothesis at assumption

3.   Tama ba ang conclusion?  Tama ba ng logic

May confirmado bang nadeterminadong hitman?

Marami talagang lawbenders at marami tayong nakikita na sa boses, compas ng kamay  at look of authority ay nagagawang implewensiyahan ang huwes eh mga mali naman logic.

Shake up in Senate leadership; Gatchalian as new SP, short lived Cayetano leadership

It is more fun criticizing

Just what is going to happen?

Which bloc is truthful?   Who is telling the truth? What if APC is telling the truth, and the new majority is leading us to .....?  Or its the other way around?

Will the minority ranks (and even majority bloc) be decimated with crimes?   How come we elected a Senate whose members have numerous cases?   God bless the PHL

Who will end the widespread corruption?  The people?    Who is going to abdicate the responsibility

The end of the ME war, thanks the Lord...

It is more fun criticizing

Signing of end of hostilities between US and Iran.    End of high oil price and uncertainity.  Certainly we believe Ms. Congeniality that what we aspire is WORLD PEACE.

Praise the Lord.... Hallelujiah.

So muddled and toxic newscape

It is more fun criticizing

This post has tried to avoid the soc and paid media as one could become crazy.  It is so hard to find the truth.  There are so many experts who muddle the issue.   While they worry about the quorum nd who cotnrols the House, we leave behind and neglect the economy, the financial  (well the struggle of course is who controls the loot?) economic status metrics  of the country is doomed and neglected.

Masyado na tayong polarized.  Pro  ___   Anti ___ Maski kamag anak ko at friends ko diametrically opposed pala kami

Maging serious tayo.  Nation building naman.

Many as I am regret having placed back again in power the nemesis of Filipino people

It is more fun criticizing

Everybody thought:  there would be P20.00 rice, the Tullano gold, the Unity Team.  But now everybody who voted might be utterly disappointed and ashamed that they brought him back to power  Thnking he is rich anyway, he had an Oxford education

But it turned out:

He has not paid the billions in Estate Tax
      Allegations of wide spread corruption
Widespread and wholesale corruption amounting to trillions:    transfer of funds from PDIC Philhealth
              sale of BSP gold
Utter disregard of govt procedures (especially budgetting)
     Lavish parties
     Allegations of drug abuse
Malemaletang pera dinadala sa mga mansion nila.

Dapat nadisqualify si PBBM ng magfile ng COC

On going debate: Is ICC arrest warrant superior no need to go to local courts, or Phil sovereignity prevails

It is more fun criticizing

1,   Is there an arrest warrant from ICC?

     1.  SP Cayetano said that NBI directors has yet to give him a copy of the warrant
2,  SDILG said there is no warrant

2.  Many argue that the sovereignity and laws of the PHIL must be respected calling for local
     court to issue a warrant.

What is the truth?

Senate under attack; its a shame and disgrace that this happened; perpetrators must not go unpunished

It is more fun criticizing

Shots rang out at the Philippine senate and this is a sad day for Philippine government and its governance.  We should be able to fix it, punish the offenders.    We are not in a position to condement any one   But corrective punitive action must take place to place people in correct  place

Why we should pray for Donald Trump

It is more fun criticizing

There was an NDE video about the person meeting the Lord which says we should pray for Donald Trump because he is catalyst;   he is neither saint nor devil.   But he is looking at things that need to be changed.

This post tried to analyze the Iran's using leverage on Strait of Hormuz and sowing terror and uncertainity in the world economy.  Right now this is causing in chaos in lives of people, many of whom are vulnerable and have not other resources.

This post believe that what we have is for everyone and no one should profit from this because these are all providential,  Tong pats, and terrorizing passers by, being a bully at the corner should not be allowed.  Trump is doing this to Iran      He should be congratulated to stop this terrorism by this nation

A video explaining the weakening of PHP vs US dollar

It is more fun criticizing

It is not so much of the war.    Its our deep attachment to USD as currency for trade   Maybe the corruption iissue,  fundamentals of economics (huge trade deficits) increasing ratio of debt to US (now Php 19 trillion), decline in OFW remittance.

It also reflects defects n reporting system   Despite reported advances in use of non fossil fuels renewable in in our energy sector, the sudden spikes and in fuel prices and talks about oil deregulation belies the claim.  The country is still highly dependent on oil an coal.

Things to be done:

1.  Fiscal discipline,   Stop being a social state;
2   Push harder the non renewable energy drive; domestic coal and oil production and exploration.
     (including moringa seeds for fuel)
3.  Encourage more agricultural and industrial productivity
4.  De couple from USD.  (like a BRIC country)
5.  More credible, honest to goodness leaders

Every empire that tried to bring down Iran eventually collapsed; will USA be next

It is more fun criticizing

All empires that tried to defeat Iran eventually folded up:    Alexander the Great,  Arabs Mongols, Russia, Iraq, and then the USA?

Will these trend be followed by events that are unfording?

What are teh factors to consider:

1.  Manpower needed to control Iran 3.0 million
2.   Expensive technology by US to fight Iran
3.   Assymetry of economics:   swarming cheap drones vs expensive
4.   Huge cash needed to maintain war $900.00 million  (1 billion a day) vs guerilla and
survival proxy war;    impoverishing domestic US economy

US views the war as only one dimensional;   Iran uses 3 other dimensions:

   1.  Economic -   Hormuz can slow down world economy using Hormuz (without closing this)
by projectig fear and alarm  (by using drones and boats) and thus spooks insurance...

   2.  Political -  water and food  (can be spooked by Iran   as their neighbors get food through Hormuz.
Thus the war can turn the conflict into humanitarian crisis...

US is now becoming an isnurance provider.

  3.   Petro dollar -   these conflict are eroding the power of petrodollar and puts difficulty in financing            the  war

  4.  Hometown narrative -  if the population in USA no longer supports nor believes the narrative.

Life of an English (an Iranian born in US) interpreter working for the Supreme Iranian leader saved by the Lord.

It is more fun criticizing

This video kept me awake past midnight last night.  It is a story who of lady daughter of an Iranian correspondent and a librarian Pasadena California  Daria Farsida who later became the personal English translator of the Supreme Leader of Iran.  Her official job was in Press TV, the prime broadcast company in Iran.   She was separated from her mother when she was 10 years old.  Her parents divorced and the father took charge of Daria upon favorable ruling from the judge.  She grew latern on to be devout Muslim.  She chose the journalism profession feeling it was her mission to be the voice of Iran to the world and project its good side, and of course to fight the Western disinformation.

During the airstrike  on February 28, 2026 that killed the Supreme Leader, Daria was with her mother  because of a long story.    Because of her story with her mother, Daria decided to see her mother on 2 weeks prior to March  As fate would have it, the life of Daria was saved.   She could no longer go back to Iran her career was ended.  She would be suspect as an insider who have coordinates for the location of the Supreme Commander.  It is a great story about her mother and probably Daria being with Jesus Christ.

The post tried to check the names.   They could have been altered for security reasons.
But a nice story to read. see.

May the power of the Lord bring us blessings, and end the war, for life to normalize

Why P12.7 billion in excise taxes from coal mining is unpaid?

It is more fun criticizing

A large mining company  has been flagged by a former DOF official not paying the said amount?  Why because from PD 972 to the RA  109631  (Section 151).   The said law  does not contain repealing provision  (The official surmised that a corrupt official had the boiler plate provision usually placed in legislation had this provision removed  Can we amend the to regularize the law)

Section 48. Section 151 of the NIRC, as amended,is hereby further amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 151. Mineral Products -

"(A) Rates of Tax. - There shall be levied, assessed and collected on minerals, mineral products and quarry resources, excise tax as follows:

"(1) On domestic or imported coal and coke, notwithstanding any incentives granted in any law or special law:

"Effective January 1, 2018, Fifty pesos (₱50.00) per metric ton;

"Effective January 1, 2019, One hundred pesos (₱100.00) per metric ton; and

"Effective January 1, 2020, One hundred fifty pesos {₱150.00) per metric ton.

"(2) On all nonmetallic minerals and quarry resources, a tax of four percent (4%) based on the actual market value of the gross output thereof at the time of removal, in the case of those locally extracted or produced; or the value used by the Bureau of Customs in determining tariff and customs duties, net of excise tax and value-added tax in the case of importation.

"x x x:

That is a lot of money   Perhaps if the said company believed in nation building and its leader should think that we actually own nothing and we are simply stewards of Gods creation then that taxes should be paid   Some rabbi say that doing this runs counter to the Lords intention and whatever the companyowns may be taken away.  It is truly right and just.  Some of the leaders of the company are our friends.

In the GSB we were taught that cheating the people and govt of taxes is not the right way to earn money.   Or underpaying suppliers and workers

No repealing clause   (May amendment kunware Sec 3 of PD 972 but not the taxation part)

Section 86. Repealing Clause. - The following laws or provisions of laws are hereby repealed and the persons and/or transactions affected herein are made subject to the VAT provision of Title IV of the NIRC, as amended:

(a) Section 3 of Presidential Decree (P.D.). 1972, s. 1985, as amended, Sections 4 and 5 of Executive Order No. (E.O.) 1057, s. 1985, and Section 4 of E.O. 1064, s. 1985, insofar as the VAT tax exemption and tax credit is concerned;

Repealing clauses absent

(the legislator may have been rewarded well to have the repealing clause deleted

Why can oil companies raise prices on old stocks inventories?

It is more fun criticizing

DOE said that this allowed under the oil deregulation law that allows oil companies to recover prices of new inventories at much bigger price.

In the hearing conducted at Senate (at which  Sen Marcoleta walked out) he pointed out that  at current fuel usage at 900,000,000 liters per month and at P70.00 price increase, this amounts to   P63 billion or about  P2.1 gross profit per day.    While this is good for the businesses, it is bad for the entire country (which is the objective of the solons)   Is there no check and balance in the oil deregulation

The good senator thinks that this is impoverishing many Filipinos and can be likened to the maleta scandal

(Examination of the oil deregulation  show  law is not clear about consumer protection:   price caps, pricing higher old inventory etc. Oil Deregulation Law. RA 8479   It really needs amending and could have passed in haste.   No safety nets for the citizens and many political savy individuals should not have signed the law.

The SP was asked what should be included if the oil deregulation was to be amended and his reply was not clear.   Simply delete the law and go back to status quo

Why worry about an oil/energy crisis? Pres says we have enough supply

It is more fun criticizing

The President says we have enough supply.  It is important for the President to say  this to soothe and calm nerves of nervous citizens

HIdden Philippines. Tribal Filipinos exhibited at Lousiana Purchase Exhibition in 1904 - human zoo

It is more fun criticizing

In 1904 Filipinos  were exhibited  as an oddity in Louisiana Purchase exposition.     To show life in the Philippines that we deserved to be colonized.     Filipino reservation 47 acres.   Over 1000...

How sad and how cruel...

Alongside the hot dog stands and carnival games, fairgoers could explore "human zoos," which were exhibits of real people who had been taken from their homelands. Brought from far-flung places, these people were "displayed" among re-creations of their native villages.

According to NPR, the Philippine village stretched for 47 acres and included more than 1,000 Filipinos from at least 10 different ethnic groups. The Philippines had just been acquired by the United States after the 1898 Spanish-American War, and fairgoers were curious about the "primitive" tribes.

But what they saw was hardly an accurate depiction. Fairgoers were told, for example, that the Igorots routinely ate dogs. Though Igorots only ate the creatures occasionally for ceremonial purposes back home, they were fed dog meat every day at the fair.

Demeaning and dehumanizing  Ugly aspect of Phil Am relationships.     Ugly little brown bros.   Shameful...

Maybe they are not surprised on how much PHL has progressed after over a century   And someday, we will get ahead of the Big White Bros..  We have all that they have in their country.  We are a participant in many critical industries:   maritime, semicons, AI,  infrastructure and engineering.  We are ahead of them in GDP growth;   our economy is better off:   no end of petrodollars, no $39 trillion debt that can not be repaid; no trillion dollar war to be fought.

Some of the tribes even produced beauty queens

Why were our leaders unable to make the same choice

It is more fun criticizing

We could have been more prosperous had our leaders chosen this paths done by these two countries:     Singapore.  and Botswana

one was mosquito infested, no oil, no other resources.  But progressed from fishing village to    With GDP exceeding that of UK.    The leader invested heavily in education

What they had were outstanding leaders.  Dont we have leaders?

Nothing came out of the expensive investigations; the defenders of the crooks are smart in their strategies our only hope is Kara Davids birthday wish

It is more fun criticizing

Many are despairing over investigations by Senate and ICI of scandals of the flood control scandals.  Nothing definite has come of the investigations despite hints as to who was behind all these.

All we can say is that we 8080 are treated to a great comedy and show.  The crook planners and defenders are smart and they have used all measures to hide the crime and the perpetrators.    And confuse everyone.

Despite overwhelming evidences, legal niceties have blocked the allegations by alleged former soldies that they delivered basura to various personalities (their testimonies led to the doors of the top govt officials)

Now we have hidden the truth and  that angers many.     Others have misdirectted attention towards impeachment;   while the other impeachment carrried more weight, it was  smartly dismissed by the allies and the beneficiaries.

Bahala na si Batman.     Divine Justice will intervene and Kara Davids wishes will take hold on the crooks and the mastermind..

Realities about the Philippine economy

It is more fun criticizing

While other posts praise the growing PHL economy (now no 34 in GDP ranking!!!) others just like this post criticize its performance and say PHL is a house of cards

As someone who has invested in the countryside, and go around frequently for the site visit, Ii conclude that much local investment has been made and we can not escape the fact that there is progress and much stride has been made in country side development.  And the truth is Western countries cant help but notice the growth rate of the PHL and that it has become an alternative for sites of manufacturing for those who leave China or Vietnam

Certain level of skill and ability has been built on AI, computers, semiconductor and even on infrastructure design and construction by Filipino architects and engineers

Self development personal improvement is prevalent among Filipinos and that is something not mentioned in the article/video.

We can move forward despite the questionable leadership in the country

Are factories moving from Vietnam to the Philippines?

It is more fun criticizing

These are good news for the kababayan and continued high growth rate of the Philippines.  (In spite of the misconduct  at the Legislative and other branches of the govt)

Confirms the thesis that war is not won on battle strategies or military tactics; but on logistics

It is more fun criticizing

The analysis is a masterpiece of critical thinking of the first principle, ie breaking down the weapons in its component.  Those are Pentagon did a masterful thinking on this campaign -  destroy the capability to produce the weapon that can swarm, and the asssymeteric warfare is gone.

Peace to be here back soon.

Congrats to US.  But the real purpose of the war is not that venerable, is it?  (Smokescreen for the domestic problems and conflicts and the loss of Petro dollars, Japan currency fiasco)

US bombed everything on Kharg Island except the $53b oil infrastructures

It is more fun criticizing

The US destroyed the military infrasturctures at Kharg Island:  bunkers airports etc but not the oil facilities.  It is where most of the oil exports of Iran come from.  It has to be an island so that deep sea ports without the massive engineering can be economically be built.

Strategy according to them:    It is not the bombs you drop, but which you did not drop

PBBMs response on oil price hike and possible escalating increase in prices of prime commodities

It is more fun criticizing

It is hoped that it is enough response.     The knee jerk reaction would be fare increase, price controls,

We pray for charity from some suppliers -  selling old stock old price at new inflated price?   Ok lang sana if we have paid higher prices.     Some charity naman diyan.

Will this warship, USS Tripoli bring peace and security to the Gulf of Hormuz and finally stabilize oil prices?

It is more fun criticizing

Despite the pronouncement that USA has decapitated the leadership of Iranian govt, and that 90% of the military force of the country has been decimated, the fear of mines, fast attack boat, shore ot ship missile strike still spooks the shipping industry.

While KSA has a pipeline flowing through to the Red Sea, the rest still has to pass the dangerous Strait of Hormuz, only 22 miles at narrowest point.

The author of the video says that peace will finally be brought by this warship, and probably normalcy in trade and price of oil.  This is neither an aircraft carrier nor amphibious landing craft, but it carries troops, aircraft and more.

Is is true that Aphelion mystery is happening now? Is it causing the cold mornings and the flu and cough happpenings (I am)

It is more fun criticizing

Experts say that it is the earths tilt that causes the weather.  The distance between the earth and the sun during the Aphelion is not considerable.  Some one is trying to make hype on this phenomenon

Do you believe in Baba Banga, her predictions in 2026, and Donald Trump

US Navy will escort and insure ships passing through gulf of Hormuz, effectively outwitting Lloyds and UK; war is all about dominating global business

It is more fun criticizing

There were tremors in the oil market, spoofing the oil markets, and it was projected that gas in the PHL will rise by P10.00 to P15.00 per liter triggering massive price increases in transport and daily necessities and spiking inflation.    This was due to the withdrawing of insurance by Lloyds of London UK

However, we note:

    1.  The leadership of Iran is gone,
    2.  Navy ships gone,  Air force gone  (However the missiles could still be a threat)
         Ground war;
   3.   Trump promised to have US navy escort the ship through the gulf of Hormuz and insure the same thru the US International Development Finance Corporation.

US may be spending a lot for this war, probably now in billions of $ But its all about control of oil, energy, insurance money.   And by projecting power to UAE, petro dollars will not vanish after all.   Petro dollars will be here to stay.   (No severe backlash for US, no domestic inflation)   Trump wins.

Filipinos now control AI, BPO is now dead? Not yet

It is more fun criticizing

At last, we can say Filipino teams are:

1.   More advanced;
2.  On time.  (product velocity) -  rapid deployment
3.  Safety

This post could not believe this

Then  PDAF

Now its flood control  (allocables, insertions)

How can they be so bold?  Sagad sagad ang kawalang hiyaan, at kasamaan?  Will they even enter hell?

For most of Filipinos this revelation is damning.  The 18 others corroborates the Guteza testimony and points to the smoking gun of corruption towards the head.

Now the administation and its sub alterns will do everything to protect the chief, shield him from  prosecution (DOJ, NBI, Ombudsman) and even the investigating bodies.  These will be trashed.   The admin will try to sweep to these under the rug so that people will forget.   Then we hope that divine justice takes over.  The justice we hope here does not seem to exist

Most of the alleged recipients have failed to comment or respond, and for those who respond will only deny,  Using the 11th commandment of "nahuli na"

The expose failed to mobilize a people power revolution, IN our  minds the indictment is compelte.  Mangoes do not bear apples and vice versa;  the sin of the olders goes down to the son.  Enough

8 worldwide industries that Filipinos now control?

Will the world stop if Filipinos stop renting out the infrastructures of these industries  ?
How far the Filipinos have gone ahead ?  No longer a third world country?

Will there be a market crash due to Iran- US war that is now developing?

It is more fun criticizing

This post was asked by a colleague whether we should rethink our strategy in view of the above challenge by txt.  I said no, as this is so far away from us.  As we have not been affected by Israel Gaza war, USSR Ukraine war.

And then the news that Supreme Commander and 40 others top military leader being neutralized by an air attack.  What else does Iran have?      How else is this war going to impact the market?

Well fear....

Iran leadership decapitated in US Israel strike

It is more fun criticizing

The Supreme Head  of Iran, Khameini and 40 other commanders were killed in air strike effectively wiping out totally the country's leadership.    No definite successor is determined.    The fear for a prolonged war is probably lost.   No more uncertainity

Conflict of interest on bets vs the tariff refunds? Will they profit the most?

It is more fun criticizing

The  Supreme Court has struck down DT tariff vs other nations.   One company, owned formerly by a cabinet official  may have obvious conflict of interest by betting on the refunds to those companies affected: 20 to 30 cents on the dollar, and can stand to profit immensely on the bet

They stand to profit immensely on these bets?

Betting now every where in US?

Taiwan now leads US in chip manufacturing; the latter used to dominate the field; how leadership can be transitory

It is more fun criticizing

90% of the worlds advanced microchip are built at TSMC.  Built by a Chinese senior officer Morris Chang at Texas Instrument.  How leadership in chip manufacturing got pulled from USA by Chinese.  Can US recover their chip dominance (led by Intel before?   But they got lazy)

Illegal reclamation projects at Laguna Lake

It is more fun criticizing

A lot is being published regarding alleged illegal reclamation projects at Laguna Lake.   This is pervasive at Taguig and even in our town where hectares of the lake are being reclaimed.    They say that LLDA will not allow any construction beyond the 12.5 mllc elevation   But it is not.   They allege that LLDA law prohibits reclamation projects (I tried to look for such authority under the law that created LLDA This post can not find clearcut rules on reclamation.)

The GM of the agency appeared to be surprised and may be his monitoring team are napping?

Now its flood control projects being masqueraded but in reality are reclamation projects.  (One of them a siomai Lord turned billionaire, alleged not to have been rich due to the product but because of something else)

Will there be more with the coastal road projects?

Really these activities must be controlled becasue of frequent floodings, pollution and its possible effect on the use of Laguna Lake as reservoir for Manila Water and Maynilad.   It is possible that the water storage capacity of the lake could be affected with the decrease in volume due to reclamation

More than 90% failure rate of AI at jobs?

It is more fun criticizing

Was it overhyped?   Were we scammed?

I found out memos and study made by  AI were full of errors.   I had to rely on my own skills.

Was this the reason why some AI stocks are crashing?

Will demonetization of P500 and P1000 bills deter the plunder of Philippine Treasury by the flood control tibs?

It is more fun criticizing

                                                        Classmate  several decades ago

Some proposals are being forwarded so as to nullify the hoard of cash that were delivered allegedly to house so top govt officials.    It would be costly to CB (and also erase their income.  CB makes a lot on bills printing) and bad for the majority of Filipinos and limited withdrawals instead.

But how would the crooks hide the money.  They need to transfer them abroad and launder them and they will ge caught.  It will be caught by local banks if deposited locally.  There has to be other way of laundering this.   (Hmmm so that is why many are looking for business plans for of acquaintances)

Some quarters are saying the good Governor is in cahoots now with the govt that appointed him.

Does ICC need local courts to approve arrest warrant

It is more fun criticizing

The arrest warrant  issued by ICC should go through the local courts as guaranteed by the constitution. according to the minority group at Senate.  So says too Sen Ping Lacson,  especially  if the penalty is below six years if Senate is in session.

The other group says that the ICC is above all the courts in the Philippines and that the former membership at Rome Statute. gives ICC jurisdiction

Semirara stocks fall P30 B - nothing lasts forever

It is more fun criticizing

The rise of Semirara I heard saved the DMCI from the condominium difficulties  However the party is over.  The coal mining contract of 50 years cant be renewed.  It is ending in 2027.   And DOJ denited its motion for extension and  DOE is bidding the contract award.  MVP is one of the parties who will bid.

The stock market reflected this woe and the SCC stocks was in a blood bath.  Its price slid 21% deleting P30 B in its values.

1.  Nothing lasts forever;
2.  Baka wrong side of the fence of politics  ang Consunji
3.  Govt is all powerful, as was in the time of Duterte.  Kaaway ng big business

A lot of mention of the Philippines lately

It is more fun criticizing

Many vids are being mentioned about the Philippine among them:

1.  High GDO growth
2   Some Filipino businessmen owning global brands;
3.  Companies relocating to the Philippine
4.  Growing strategic importance of the Phil in geopolitics:  USA China
US acquiring more bases very EDCA, blunting Chinas Southeast Asia ambition,  and even war on              Taiwan

A $3 trillion heist by a European powerhouse in the Philippines; Philippines would have been a very prosperous country were it not for this?

It is more fun criticizing

It was alleged in this video that a European powerhouse, a top 20 nation in total GDP had $3 trillion heist on the Philippines about 70,000 tons of gold.  This was based on records dug by a Philippine historian, Ambeth Ocampo.  Like the rest of its conquest Spain found out that Philippines had plenty of gold mines the most famous of which were in Surigao, Benguet, Camarines (the Paracale) and numbering about 200 +.  Spain had forced mining activity that brought the gold to Spain using the galleon trade from Manila to Acapulco, and from thereon to Spain.  (There is another video that the mountains of gold did more harm than good to Spain.  This caused inflation and encouraged lack of productivity among its citizens

Manila was rightfully known as "Queen of the Orient"

There are hints that Spain should repay, render reparation to the Philippines.   $3 trillion isi about  PHP 180 trillion and would do much erase the Php 17 trillion current debt.

Had there be no such heist, the Philippine infrastructure, health care and education would have been one of the best in the world, and truly Philippines would be the Pearl of the Orient Seas.

Would this post make many Filipinos furious?   Before it was foreigners committing heist, now its compatriots.

Heist through legalities (allocables, flood control projects, budget insertions) by the rulling class?

Leviste on a 6 month leave - presssure from his detractors

It is more fun criticizing

Rep Leandro Leviste is reported to be on a 6 mos leave, probably at the behest of his detractors (administration).   He would seem to have buckled from pressure from his opponents due to vulnerability as former businessman and who relies on the govt for his licenses and approval as a power supplier.

He should have not attempted to cross the lines with the Cabral files and his exposes being a former businessman.    This is a Machiavellian reality -  do not wound (or even attack a king) most especially if the king is all powerful and almighty

2026 will be pivotal in Baba Vangas prediction for 2026

It is more fun criticizing

In Baba Vangas prediction (the modern Nostradamus?) the centerpoint is USA and Pres Donald Trump
She was accurate in predicting the rise to power of first Afro American Obama.  She made her prediction about Trump long before he became a politician.  She was blind and illiterate and her predictions were chronicled by historians, relatives and people around her.

1.  America would experience the great divide:   conflicts

2  Donald Trump would return to power but he will face a lot of legal obstacles even from people around him (its happening with Republicans who want him out)

3.  America would lose its power over its former allies with the demise of dollar as world currency and internal economic crisis  (debts, deficits etc)

4.  America especially the Western side would experience many catastrphe from sea and volcanic activity.

5.  America would face real scarcity not from lack of production but problems in its logistics (happening now in California due to scarcity of fuel, banning of diesel trucks and many more)

Do you believe in prediction?  Is this relevant

Reps Barzaga and Leviste will soon sit up straight; the big ones will whip them with sticks to make them behave

It is more fun criticizing

The two very famous opposition reps may soon quiet down -  Rep Barzaga because of the P100 million cyber libel suit filed by mogul Enrique Razon and  Rep Leviste because of the P24 billion fine from DOE.

Their adversaries who are apparently hurt by their noise will use the arsenal at their disposal to make them stay quiet.    What will happen next?  Will they continue to be brave and fight on?
