We Spend too much time at Circus

Filosofo Tasio Lives

We love circus and spectacles.  We love events.  Media and marketing people know this and you can count on them that they will exploit this to the hilt.  The more sensational, the more weird, the better.  The spectacle could be uplifting, but most of them are not.  We call it trending too.

The Roman emperors capitalized on this to make Roman populace happy.  So we had gladiators.  The more gory and bloody, the better.  It went on and on.  Even up to now.

So we feed on media frenzy.  And we spend too much time and energy devouring the spectacles.(Or you can substitute beauty contests, boxing, politics, and basketball)  Why worry?  Be happy.

And we lose track of the more important aspects of nation building.  We get lost.

We spend too much time at the circus.(or at the coliseum)
