The post would like to advance comments regarding the actions of our distinguished Senators on the Bangladesh heist:
1. That they had declared the account as fictitious violates the law on bank secrecy. All that they need is to seek a court order (the law says upon order of a competent court which it is not)
2. What is the business of Sen Aquino doing a dick work at LTO?
Are these grandstanding work, height of egotism on the part of the Senators/
3. That there were indications that Ambassador Gomes of Bangladesh got the message from the Senate has promised that he will get the money back. Did they? Are the Senators now doing police stolen goods recovery work?
4. The good ambassador must be censured for criticizing the due process that must be done, the legalities before hie can get the money back (at least the $4.6) Will the AMLC, and it si not clear, or the Senate conduct forfeiture proceedings vs RCBC to recover the stolen money from them. This is sending ripples to the banking and depositing community and are running away from RCBC; kaawa awa naman ang good nen and women at RCBC

One was reported killed and 40 others injured in the protest rally by some 3000 farmers at the highway of Kidapawan. The protest rally started on March 30. The rally blocked the highway. On Friday, April 1, the clearing operations (as PNP claimed/not a dispersal operation) started with some 30 personnel of PNP assisted by BFP water trucks and PNP security forces (not allowed under BP 880 Section 10 B)
As I write this article, an investigation at Davao City is ongoing (featured at ANC) and Senator Peter Alan Cayetano is questioning the police officers
It was reported that before the operations could start the protesters started throwing rock; the order was given to withdraw but then 2 of PNP officers fell and the fury of the protesters fell on the two. That was when the PNP ground commander sought assistance and the security force, as SWAT team fired in the air and at the protesters (a judgement call he said). :Prior to this women and children who were used as shield had to be removed by DSWD.

From Rappler - 5 hour power outage at NAIA 3 strands thousands of passengers; delays flights
The five hour power outage which hit NAIA terminal 3 was declared a force majeure and therefore airlines could not be held liable for missed and cancelled flightts. . It stranded thousands of passengers and delayed flight 82 flights were cancelled.. It adds to the long woes of Philippine airports as one of the worst in the world. At one time, the ceiling of the said terminal collapsed injuring the passenger.
What could be behind the outage? Meralco declared through its spokesperson that the substation of the airport malfunctioned and therefore power was not flowing in from the grid. Some say it was due to the brown out due to the maintenance procedure of Merlaco. The time of the maintenance and the brown out coincided.
Authorities said that the standby gensets could not sustain the power requirements of the airport.
GM Honrado of MIAA and Sec Abaya were ordered by Malacanang to take steps to prevent such from occurring again. We knew that the two were put on the spot because of the handling of the "tanim bala" events. The two are considered Presidents men thus accountability and responsibility in a professional way cant be pinned down on them

Sri Lankan businesswoman Hagoda Gamage Shalika Perereira got $20 million of the $101 million of the Federal Reserve Bank heist by cyber hackers. There could have been more fund transfers, had there been no misspelling of Shalika Foundation (to Fundation). The routing bank, Deutsche bank sought clarification hence the payment was stopped by the local bank since the amount was unusually large.
The amount she got was alleged to have come from JICA for an electrification project. JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) denied any links or transactions with her.
