Hearings are set for oral arguments by congressmen opposing the declaration of Martial Law in Mindanao (it should only be in Marawi City) (Congress opposition leaders to question factual basis for the declaration of Martial Law in Mindanao. The leaders of such move are Cong. Edcel Lagman, Teddy Baguilat, Tom Villarin, and Magdalo Gary Alejano. This post is afraid that this group for the sake of yakking do not appreciate the problem or view the situation objectively: the NPA, the ASG, the trouble in Zamboanga City, firefight in Sarangani. whewww

But Senate is unlikely to revoke the declaration or agree to convening of a joint session since majority of Senators support the Martial Law declaration (in the words of Sen V. Sotto not to be hampered by people like them)
