Aquino defends PNP chief - from Rappler
I used to be a Jaycee and this is an important creed. However, after hearing the interview with the head of the country on head of PNP, and saying that he is a friend, and that he is good despite the allegations of wrongdoing, and documented at that, this post is rather appalled with the support being thrown by the head of state to another head of an organization.....
It is thus a govt of friends rather than of laws. Of dynasties, and friends and NGOs.....

Plunder complaint?
While several senators have been jailed for plunder, a CA justice was removed for irregularities, the road ahead is still not tuwid. Friendships and relationships get in the way of a formal democratic organization. We say one thing, for others and do other things for friends,
The said chief used to be aide of the mother of the President when she was the President and was guarding the young Aquino then.
Allegations of wrongdoing included:
1. the renovation of the PNP white house in Crame at cost of P12 million allegedly from contributions of Mason friends of the chief.
2. The property in Nueva Ecija which others estimate to have cost P30 to P50 million to build. It was declared in the former's SALN to be only P3.75 million
Erap used to say, "Walang kaibi kaibigan, walang kama kamag anak " (it could mean the other way around too?"
That may be the reason why at other agencies and elsewhere, the shooting buddies do not contribute to tuwid na daan....
