179 out of 182 passengers perished in landing air crash tragedy involving Jejun Airline at Mauan South Korean.
The plane was reported to have had a bird strike which disabled its hydraulic system which prevented the lowering of its landing gear and the extension of flaps to slow the plane landing
The aviation expert noted that the pilot made a normal landing and fatalities could have been lower had there been no concrete structure at the end of the runway. The aviation expert said the solid wall should not be there anyway on the runway. But there was. Airport authorities said that they complied with air operations standard.
The aviation expert belies that the deaths were caused by bird strike or even plane manufacturer. It would have been the same for either of the major airline manufactuer.
