SK through its President has ordered a stop to SK funding of PHL projects over alleged corruption.  Japan was reported to have taken the same stance (although there is nothing specific about  their action)   Surely foreign aid even for the two major typhoons we had and earthquake emergencies will stop if there are alleged corruption.  (I have seen as a reservist how foreign aid was pilfered at warehouses of operating centers during the Pinatubo eruptions)

When will we as Christian nation have this problem stopped.  Is it because of the leadership (Its not the son sin if the father sinned.    We have to redo the statements   Guavas will always bear guavas.  Scorpions will always bite because they were made that way)

The worse thing is about the perception that foreign nations will have about our people and governance.  We may fail to reach our GDP target and dream of being an economic powerhouse.     Foreign investors will likewise avoid our country like it is plague ridden.

US just approved tarriffs miniumum 10% including allied countries like Philippines (its 17%) and others as high as 50%.  This may spark global trade war.  It negates possible migrationn of Chinese factories to the Phiilippines because of prospective tarriffs on goods expoerted from China.

Its end of globalization?  

Perhaps US should rethink this position.  It might be the only nation prospering after all is done.

Timor Leste has denied PHL request for extradition of wanted solon from the PHL which leaves our coutry's SOJ fuming   How does it compare to our DOJ, or other top govt official handling of FPRRD who handed over our citizen with nary observation of constitutionality, or consideration of PHL as a sovereign state?

What can be learned?  Is PHL respected as sovereign state?   What about the President and his relatives?  How do Filipinos view him?

There are reports here in the video indicating a massive $250 B fraud in the US.  That is huge.  This and other miscounduct at its USAID would be a revelation of waste and corruption in the US.   Hooray to Trump and Musk for the DOGE efforts and results.

Rich and powerful countries continue to flex their muscles and cow PHL to submit to their whims:  China with regards to Spratly's, Malaysia with regards to Sabah, and Taiwan with regards to allegedly killing of Taiwanese fisherman who intruded into PHL territory.

PHL does not have balls?  But we are great in basketball, arent we?

Let us analyze the trade retaliatory acts of Taiwan:   Taiwan about $4 billion worth to PHL, PHL imports $2 billion from Taiwan.   Taiwan tourists only rank no 5 among arrivals.   So maybe PHL economy and businessman may be resilient and flexible enough to make up for the losses.

We are not losers, nor cry babies, are we?
