Floods in Rizal - Cainta, Rodriguez, Pililila, San Mateo, Marikina, Antipolo, Baras experience severe flooding

It was unusual that almost all the towns of Rizal were flooded:   Morong, Baras, Tanay, Teresa, Pililla, Cainta, Antipolo,  Rodriguez and  San Mateo.   These are all familiar places

All due to rains brought by Typhoon Enteng.

It is more fun criticizing

Majority of barangays in San Mateo were flooded, and evacuation has to be implemented.   Floodwaters reached the roofs of some houses.  Some are not accessible though.  The Mayor asked help of PNP and 

AFP.

Work and classes are suspended as of July 25, 2024.   

La Mesa dam too has breached the highest water level and floods in low lying areas in Bulacan is expected.  La Mesa dam has no floodgates.   Maybe just spillways.
