There is much talk about former chief of  a former powerful committee is coming back.   But look:   his networth went up by 3x during a 3 year period.     He was involved in various cases  which admittedly have been cleared    Who among investigating bodies are spotless.   Are we wasting further the taxpayers money in this palabas

Why are we having so much investigations that end up with nothing.   Entertainment?

US Bill Threatens BPO - Bilyonaryo

A proposed bill in USA (time for US politicians to shine) is threatening the loss and or decline of the Phl BPO industry that brings in $30 billion in revenues and supports 2 million workers.  Under the proposed act, US will penalize companies:    by not providing loans, grants and benefits if they keep call centers abroad.   

A strict monitoring system will produce a Do not reward list of companies that will surely force many US companies to give up Call Centers in the Philippines.

US market is 70% of the PHL BPO total market.   This will surely hurt the PHL BPO

What does it mean to the Philippine economy to Philippine workers. ?    Many BPO workers wearn as much as $500 -700 /per month exclusive of health care.  Quite a blessing.   

What would happen to the current BPO workers and the industry supporting this:    leasing companies, Cyberzone, buildings housing call centers, housing and rental units for the workers:   vans and angkas transporting BPO workers.

Phil ambassador to US also surnamed Romualdez says many investors from US are wary of the corruption issues in Phl.   The US Dept of State has noted the corruption in the PHL.

SOJ Remulla appointed as next Ombudsman replacing Martires

Yesterday PBBM appinted as  former SOJ Boying Remulla as the next Ombudsman replacing  Samuel Martires.

His appointment drew various reactions owinng to his past actions vs FRRD and other incidents.    And seen as not being independent of the Palace.  

What do you think will be the outcome, repurcussion of this appointment 

Post appointment:    The first act of the new Ombudsman is to run after VP Sarah, exposing the real reason for the appointment.   However the position of the VP is impeachable, meaning an impeachment must proceed before the Ombudsman can investite said office

The Senate blue ribbon committee under Sen Ping Lacson has announced the cancellation of its future hearings.  He has likewise resigned.   

Many speculate reaons for the halting  of the proceedings:

1.  The hearings has implicated many fellow senators, some of them inescapably;

2.  The evidence points only to one direction -- to the top as many have speculated all along

Were these all for a show to placate the masses.?  Is it not going to backfire?
