Lost of value caused P1.7 trillion in stock market value

It is more fun criticizing

The stock market lost P1.7 trillion in just three weeks due to the unfolding flood control scandals.?   Do you agree?  Or some other factors were at play?   This was disputed by Sec. Go as fake news.

Phil ambassador to US also surnamed Romualdez says many investors from US are wary of the corruption issues in Phl.   The US Dept of State has noted the corruption in the PHL.

Declining tourism in US? Used to bring in trillions of $ in revenue

It is more fun criticizing

Airports empty, no hotel visitors, lay offs?  What caused sudden decline in number of visitors.   US is top tourist destination in the world with over 20M visitors, the highest in the world.  But in stunning reversal, policies by the US govt (or Trump has driven away tourist.   Stringent rules vs visitors and immigrants, $250.00 fee on US visa.  Deportation of illegal immigrants.   Lopsided trade deals (20% and above tariff and 0 tariff on US imports) have all but killed the US tourism industry.

These adds to all ready impoverished US population.  Poverty in USA?

Number of active users on soc media apps

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
3.24.2021

If we combine the numbers for instagram, whats app messenger, the combined resources of the businesses owned by that entity is huge and may invite anti trust ruling from their home country.

The billions of active users in the soc media giants is simply mind boggling and would  inspire awe and fright of its its power and might.   And they have fought other giants as well and not so kind to its contributors.

However it seems to be having problems:

     1.  Static number of users at home country
     2.   Compeition
     3.   A number of issues -  privacy data breach.

Quite a number have deleted their accounts permanently because of privacy issues    A numbe of multinationals have left FB for their ads

I suppose the active users are not people who post articles, pictures,  but it includes:
     1.  likes
     2.  emojis
     3.  comments
     4.  like comments
     5.  reply to comments and like of logged in user.

Those who make original posts still remain probably with Google and that is where real power the net is;  not in shallow likes and reactions.
