This one makes us proud of Filipinos.   (despite the hardships and criticism from mostly Westerners)

We dont live in trees, we are not OBOB.   Good people do good things

Late Pres. Manuel L Quezon, US High Commissioner, Paul McNutt, Dwight Eisenhower.   All played key role.

While present generation are anti Jews, Filipinos then helped Jews be saved from German Nazis during the holocaust.   

(May be this is the reason why I met Jews who were helping Samar rebuild after the Yolanda super typhoon)

Pres. Quezon helped saved 1,300 Jews from 1937-41; why did other countries did not?

Pres. Manuel Quezon, said its the right thing to do.  

He helped saved 1,300 Jews.  We were not just watching things happen.  We played a great role

in World History.
