What do you think of medical missions? Are they functional? Do they really help?
When I was younger, and was member of civic organizations, we loved doing medical missions. Several decades later, the model for promoting health has not changed. It is still medical missions
I asked some doctors and they said the surgery help but not the usual dx and check up; they just get the free drugs and vitamins. And pharmas just donate about to expire drugs.
Well we thank them for their generosity. But the giving and the CSR has to be rethought.
Does mm encourage mendicancy?
