Many as I am regret having placed back again in power the nemesis of Filipino people

It is more fun criticizing

Everybody thought:  there would be P20.00 rice, the Tullano gold, the Unity Team.  But now everybody who voted might be utterly disappointed and ashamed that they brought him back to power  Thnking he is rich anyway, he had an Oxford education

But it turned out:

He has not paid the billions in Estate Tax
      Allegations of wide spread corruption
Widespread and wholesale corruption amounting to trillions:    transfer of funds from PDIC Philhealth
              sale of BSP gold
Utter disregard of govt procedures (especially budgetting)
     Lavish parties
     Allegations of drug abuse
Malemaletang pera dinadala sa mga mansion nila.

JPE, Gigi Reyes, Napoles acquitted of plunder; what goes

It is more fun criticizing

After 10 years, judgement was finally rendered on JPE, Napoles, Gigi Reyes plunder case.  Acquittal.  No sufficient evidence that JPE, GR received the kickbacks.    It would seem that bank transfer and other electronic means of transfer are not the same as personally receiving the money.

This post congratulates the brilliance of  EM is in his advocacy as lawyer.   I heard he charges P5M as acceptance fee.    And probably a lot more for winning this case.

Really justice is about getting a good lawyer.   What happens upon demise of EM

Would Pres Du30 declare martial law?

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
November 29, 2016

Image result for digong may declare martial law
According to JPE, can not do it with ML

Image result for digong may declare martial law
Gen Bato and PNP, 160,000 strong would support DU30 if
                                         he declares martial law

Tomorrow we commemorate the birth date of the great Plebian, perhaps the real Philippine National Hero who fought for our country using his own name, and not because the friars took away their land.

But that reminds of the stark reality that there are constant reminders of suspension of writ of habeas corpus (after the declaration of state of lawlessness)  Martial Bonifacio (the name used in passport of Ninoy) may just be around the corner.  Digong has heads and hands full with the following:

1.  Uncontrolled kidnapping by ASG in Mindanao despite 10,000 strong military ops;

2.  Maute rebellion in Mindanao, even ambush of his advanced convoy;

3.  Traffic problem (he still does not have emergency powers;   Political foes are giving him a hard time

4.  The drug problems:

Talamak na involvement ng govt officials elective and appointive and even in his very own police force which he trusts:  generals cols.  BUCOR officials

5.  Graft and corruption

CSC laws, due process, Constitutional rights protecting corrupt officials.  The slow wheels of justice and govt grinds very slowly to defy efforts to clean the govt of corruption.  No the ERC officials will not resign because they have a tenure to be observed just like judges.

Corrupt govt officials entrenched in the legislative and judicial branches.    And they have lawyers and laws behind them.

Corrupt barangay officials and LGU officials -  their kotong ways have not abated.

Campaign vs corruption in various depts are met with strong resistance as in DOJ, and even assassination as in Bureau of Customs

As fmr Senator and fmr expert on martial law, Pres Duterte needs the declaration of martial law to combat crimes and solve all other challenges of the country.  I will do the same if I were the President.  An achiever can do no less.  A man of honor and respect for his word will demand nothing less to achieve his goals

Why is the President campaigning and attacking other candidates?

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
April 8, 2016

Why is President Pnoy  actively campaigning for Mar?  Why is he also launching verbal attacks vs Bongbong and Duterte?  In the past, and campaign election elsewhere, this is not happening?

One also wonders why is he being called as termed as 3 day President by JPE?  We could have a proactive and even prompt reactive President.

Will it be Duterte Marcos tandem in 2016

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
March 2, 2016

From Philstar - Duterte and Marcos in 2016?

Could the prediction that Digong and Bongbong Marcos come out to be our top leaders this coming May election.  First humuhugong and ONG sa mga nickname nila.  And secondly they are coming out strong on the latest surveys.

Talk about the anti Digong and Bong bong.  Where ever Digong goes, the number of followers and apostles increases.  It all started with  CDO debate. The masses, the netizens were for Digong. The editors, the elite were for Mar Roxas.

About Bongbong.  While the victims of the Marcos martial law are campaigning very hard vs the young Marcos, we must understand we live in a different times.  The mass of the voters are young and would not know what martial law all about.  And the young Marcos is gaining points with the young audience.   The young Marcos has also matured a lot as a leader.  He will be definitely be supported by the vote rich Region I, and by the Romualdez in Eastern Visayas.   If Duterte supports him in Mindanao and the rest of Visayas, then it is a matter of fighting it out at Region III and IV.
Sen Maceda had also have something to say about politics.   The electorate has such a short memory. See how Manong was even elected even if there were Maleta issues against him and so with JPE.  The architect of Martial Law made it to the inner sanctum of all the adminiistration  Cory Aquinok FVR, GMA and even PNOY.  See nakapasok sa gobyerno eh talagang berdugo iyan, executor ng Martial Law.   Kung may kalupitan sa Martial Law ang dapat managot ang mga sub altern. Eh lalo na si Bongbong, di niya ginawa ni FM at JPE.

We are sorry that there were victims of martial law, but we must recognize the reality of politics

Sen Santiago was the winner at the Napoles hearing yesterday November 7 2013

Social and political criticisms

From Yahoo News -SMDS stole show at Napoles hearing

Thus declared many news agencies on the demeanor of Sen Santiago.  She was kind cool, loving yesterday, devoid of her usual histrionics.  And was oozing with love towards the defendant.JLN must testify now perpetuate her testimony, before the implicated gentlemen  had her assassinated.   Of course, she was in her usual element oozing with sarcasm.

1.  How come she knows so much about business:   international trade, mining, shipbuilding and repair despite her limited education. The good senator told JLN how difficult international law on trade as a subject was.  She had to be mentored to gain more knowledge on the subject matter.  How come, as a girl from Basilan, whose education was not clear can be so expert on many complex businesses.

2.  How come she got rich so fast?  In the last ten years.  She had no successful business yet was so wealthy to have 3 houses and 7 cars.  Sen Santiagos hypothesis was that she got rich because of this scam, which she vehemently denies.

At the end of the day, Sen Santiago said that this hearing as an aid of legislation, wants to make public officials very qualified before they can run for public office (and not as they are - devoid of decent education, hence this misconduct)  The 3 senators being implicated had commissions for billions of PDAF funds and they were alleged to have gotten 50% commission

JPEs cash gift of P1.6 million to fellow senators from savings?

Social and political criticisms

An interaksyon article

It was reported that JPE gave PHP 1.6 million cash gift to the senators.  Some allege that is to ward off a coup detat. Let us look into this.

l.  Is it the personal money of JPE?  If so where did he get it?

2.  If it is govt funds, why was it called "cash gift"?  Is it ok to give gifts using public funds?
Do they, does JPE own the govt funds?

3.  If it govt funds, were proper administrative procedures followed?

Sen MDS, the arch enemy of JPE returned her cash gift to JPE (JPE returned MDS biscuit gift) urges audit of the savings of solons.  The question is that is it possible?  Will COA audit JPE.  Ang takot na lang nila.!

At the end  of the day, it is the integrity of the public official that matters.  Do they have integrity?

Never again martial law?

Social and political criticisms

From Biznet blog

In the 40th anniversary of martial law, the cry is "Never again".

If we are to be strict about this, the balimbings and the people who implemented the martial law
should never be here.

Did we really leave martial law and its evils?  You just have to look at its influence.  The legislators, the leaders, the judges, the technocrats, the bureaucrats, etc. of Martial Law are around and lording it over.

Think and reflect about it.

One such person, who used to be with cabinet of late dictator, was a senator, said that the public have such a poor memory, maybe 6 months, that a good PR campaign will make them forget misdeeds of the past.

Is it true?

Is it really never again...

Martial Law after 40 years

Social and political criticisms

                                     September 2l, l972

From InterAksyon

Forty years ago, after graduation, I worked for a bank in Port Area.  At the night of Sept 20, 1972I heard, the convoy/car of now Senate President JPE was ambushed at Vito Cruz.   It was  a Friday.

The following day, there was no radio nor TV.  I heard Martial Law was declared.

In 1972 or during that time:  I was witness to Plaza Miranda bombing, the Mendiola protests, the protests at the Congress and the mayhem that followed.;  the barricades along Katipunan, the SJ students struggle, news of clamp down on activitists at AdeMU, classmates being shadowed by military agents.

2012.  Elsewhere in the internet:

Sen. Bong2 Marcos said that we were better off in Martial Law than now.  Young Marcos defends Martial Law

Many those surveyed shared the same views.

But many abuse/torture during the Martial Law have yet to be documented.  10, 000 more to go.

Some notes:

l.  "Are you a virgin"

2.  "Needles under the nails..."

3.  "Look into my eyes, and I will give you hell...

4.  "Unbearable torture drove my brother to try to drown himself...."

Now many say JPE was the architect of ML, how come he is up there when there are so many anti vs. ML
