Friend or foe? Armed struggle to amidst social injustice justified

It is more fun criticizing

In many parts of the  debates and symposia for the presidentiables, a candidate really stands out.  He justifies that it is all right for the 50 year old movement (CPP NPA NDF)  to go on armed struggle to attain their objectives, despite them having gained many partylist post and despite huge efforts to address livelihood, social justice  And being well entrenched in the govt.  Other candidates wisely called them enemies  While the rest of the communist movement in the world has become kaput, it is very much alive in our midst even in the presidential campaign

The position taken by the gentleman makes him an undesirable candidate for this peaceful election.and enemy of the peace loving citizen.     In so far as ideologues are concerned, the government despite all the gargantuan efforts will never be able to satisfy the appetites of the rebels/terrorists. 

One less candidate to analyze

Armed struggle to persist without social justice

Failing to engage idealogues in dialogues or terrorists in peace talks

We should admire the Presidency for offering his hands of peace to the NDF, and other rebel groups. However, as a former idealouge myself, a leftist during college days, I know that the leadership, once they have taken a position, they will not change.   For most leftists, it is Hegelian dialectics.   The nations and society can only move through incessant conflicts;  not dialogues.  Thus the expensive, overseas peace talks will lead only to one thing. Nothing

As we see, the govt and the NDF have been dancing around on a purported peace talk and nothing gets done with the NDF advancing difficult unachievable agenda, and coupling that with double talk.   Peace negotiation with kidnappings and attacks on security forces of the govt.

As far as other terrorists are concerned,  they only understand one language -  force.  Violence.   They also fear death.  Once you terrorize their communities and relatives, then they can understand the wrong they have been doing.   As being done with the ISIS Maute group.  Next time they will think 30 times before they will launch anything.    Even fellow Muslims wish them well that they get annihilated for causing all the harm to Marawi
