In lightning moves the rebels after drving armed forces of the govt, captured  Damascus, marking the end of 13 years war, 50 years of brutal regime of Bashad Al Assad whose regime was marked by repression thousands imprisoned and brutal treatment of enemies.

Some conclusions obserrvations:

1.   It showed the weakness of Putin and his military.  Russian military assets, even sensitive ones, and fate of the naval base and air base at trisk;

2.  The rebel attack seemed to have the knowledge of Turkey.  

3.  There were rebel groups alleged armed by US

4.  This ends Irans unlimited use of Syria as highway for arms for military supplies to Hamas

5.  This will pave way for resurgence of ISIS, and other revel groups.  This will start bloodbath amongst various warring faction

6.  The Syria rebels have warned Israel, and Israel has taken preemptive strikes to secure the buffer zzone between Syria and Israel

7.  World leaders are not rejoicing over the fall of Assad, because this has disrupted the balance of power in Middle East although there regime of Assad over its citizens are not to be admired.   However he was a stable leader to deal with unlike the rebel leaders who could be unpredictable.

In  a recent development tt was learned that rebels captured Hama City and Aleppo.   Assad's army fled and Putin has apparently left  Pres Assad.   It was learned that Israel and USA are supporting the rebels.  In a surprise move, Assad sought the help of Israel.

Syria fell to the rebels in 2016 but was able to take back control of Syria.   

How will this development affect the geopolitics in Middle East.    (Tespecially the proxy wars between US and USSR)

In many parts of the  debates and symposia for the presidentiables, a candidate really stands out.  He justifies that it is all right for the 50 year old movement (CPP NPA NDF)  to go on armed struggle to attain their objectives, despite them having gained many partylist post and despite huge efforts to address livelihood, social justice  And being well entrenched in the govt.  Other candidates wisely called them enemies  While the rest of the communist movement in the world has become kaput, it is very much alive in our midst even in the presidential campaign

The position taken by the gentleman makes him an undesirable candidate for this peaceful election.and enemy of the peace loving citizen.     In so far as ideologues are concerned, the government despite all the gargantuan efforts will never be able to satisfy the appetites of the rebels/terrorists.

And Global research - was Ukraines  Ministry  behind the downing of the MH 17.    There were news that MH 17 was escorted by MIG fighters 3 minutes before the plane disappeared.  The missile was fired from Bukov missile defense system.  This is another version that Ukraine Govt was behind the firing.

There has been an international outcry against the rebels, allegedly supported by Russia, as behind the fatal and deadly crash of Malaysian Airlines that killed all the 298 passengers.  There has been a lot of complaint too on how the dead and the remains of the ill fated plane are being handled.

The crash site is declared off limits to visitors, journalist, the crash investigator, and the Ukraine rebels (take note that the rebels are separatists and supported by USSR, not by US as alleged by Putin)

Sec Kerry, and not just Fox news alleged that the SA 11 rockets were:

1. supplied by Russia to Ukraine rebels.  There are 4 rockets in the pod, but only remain as the picture shows;

2.  that the rockets were fired by Russian and not by Ukraine rebels as alleged.

The Fox News also mentions that a certain Russian Colonel named Igor boasted of the MH 17 kill on the social media?

Will this incident move Putin and Obama to the brink?

Will the International outcry affect the Ukraine problem/Putin (many experts do not think so)?

Will this be another Russian misadventure that will be forgotten?

Many movies are larger than life and many events like this has been, in fiction form the, the same plot as this MH 17.
