Sen Chiz Escudero, in a privilege speech before a Senate Plenary session points to fmr HOR Speaker Martin Romualdez as the mastermind behind the flood control projects  He urged every one to rip the script/narrative of Romualdez to divert attention on the anomalous flood control controversy.

The good senator was seen to be defending himself and distancing himself from:    1   insertions emanating from the Senate;    2.   allegations that he received millions of campaign funds from contractor.

This is going to be the start of the fight between two former boss of the Legislative bodies.  Where will this lead to?    Who will win?   Who will be jailed?

The 47th President of US Donald John Trump; is busy working issuing several orders to fulfill his election promise:

1.  Closing the US southern border declaring a state of emergency there and ordering troos and US war equipmkent to be deployed there.  US has deported all ready several migrants there especially those involved in violent crimes to be deported via US planes.

Mexico and Colombia initally declined landings of planes there but capitulated for fear of US tarriff

2.  Freezing of US aid; except military aid to Israel and Egypt.  A US judge has blocked the order for the medical aid treatment in the US.

     But Pres Trump has noted bizarre aid that does not benefit US interest.  The US aid freeze lasts fo 9- days during which a review is to ber mde.

3.  US birthright.

     Children of migrant citizens whose parents are not US citizens (not green card holder or US citizien) do not get automatic US citizenship

Many are criticizing are alartmed  at such policies but the Pres is simply fulfilling his election campaign promise and wants to protect the ineterest of US citizens.

Senatorial Candidate Manny Pacquiao's comment on same sex marriage drew artillery barrage from the community so offended and even high profile rebuff from likes of Vice Ganda and Aiza Seguerra.  The Nike endorsement contract of Pacquiao which could be millions of dollars was promptly removed. for having offended  may be which amounts to a sizeable market for Nike. That is why the Pope has been against too much consumerism.  One loses sense of values if you pander to an interest group who could be fatally wrong.

Why cant we react vs the Pope.?   Why should we react vs his disciples who profess the same faith?

It is worth noting that Sen Myriam Santiago same remarks that same sex marriage is worse than animals because you never see same sex animals copulating. nary drew a flak from the offended segment.  Why did they cross Manny and not Myriam.  Because di sila tatantanan ni Myriam.

Manny should stay put and we admire his stand for standing by his religious stand.   What would Bro Manalo say on same sex marraige or Ely Soriano?
