Will there be a market crash due to Iran- US war that is now developing?

It is more fun criticizing

This post was asked by a colleague whether we should rethink our strategy in view of the above challenge by txt.  I said no, as this is so far away from us.  As we have not been affected by Israel Gaza war, USSR Ukraine war.

And then the news that Supreme Commander and 40 others top military leader being neutralized by an air attack.  What else does Iran have?      How else is this war going to impact the market?

Well fear....

Firefighter died and Jesus showed him fire has not stopped

It is more fun criticizing

The fireman saw that the fire he saw in LA was unlike the fire he saw.  It was huge and overwhelming.  As if it was laughing against their efforts.  The more they fought the more the more fire grew   As if it was alive and/or something/someOne was behind it.

In his NDE the fireman saw himself in a court room.  There was an angel and demon.  The demon is claiming his legal rights with the fire because the city has sinned mocked God, has become amoral.  It was not merely physical fire but spiritual fire.

Men has astrayed from God, have not going to church  have alienated God, replaced faith with materialism and sin.

In many areas of CA, where the fire hits most, this condition exist, and areas where faith and love of God continues, there is light and no fires.

Are these stories true and must we change and repent

3d printer now a threat to peace and order?

It is more fun criticizing

Guns can be made by using 3d printer.  Switches and link that turn ordinary guns into machine guns/pistol can easily be made.

3d printers are boon to MDS, manufacturers, construction industry, and now to gun enthusiasts, terrorists and gang members.

Guns that are invisible to x ray can be made using 3d printers.

Will they license 3d printers next.   Is this the new weapon of death and terrorism?

Journo joyful over death of a Health Care CEO - is blasted as unhinged

It is more fun criticizing

A  journo, Taylor Lorenz  felt joyful over the death of United Health Care CEO Bryan Lorenz.  While we do not need to be sad over death, neither must we be joyful, especially if it was a case of murder.    (even if said business practice are questionable)

She wished the executives dead.   She will be in the same league as the PHL VP and must be investigaged and charged.

Yahya Sinwar, mastermind of Oct 7 massacre, head of Hamas killed; end of Gaza war?

It is more fun criticizing

Various videos of Yanyan Sinwar, the alleged leader of Hamas who masterminded the Oct 7 2023 massacre of 1,200 Israelis showed his final moments before being killed.  Videos did not lower the morale of Hamas but instead showed Sinwar as hero and martyr, defiantly fighting while clad in in his battle attire, his hands amputated, trying to down a drone with a stick.

DNA and dental records verification showed the corpse identity as that of Sinwar.   Found with him were about $10, candy, UNRW id (confirming IDF assertion that UNRW is front for Hamas)

But one thing is certain, the wages of sin is death.   The head of the snake has been cut.  And the morale in the rank of of Hamas will decline.  And the end of the war is probably near.   This will cut the desire of many Hamas to seek leadership will decline.   Definitely IDF will find and kill them.  Many Hamas and Hezbollah heads had been neutralized.  And Israle IDF is bent on continuing the war until the last Hamas is neutralized.

Typhoon Odette, a supertyphoon cuts a swath of death and destruction at Visayas and Mindanao

It is more fun criticizing

We did pay little attention to the  typhoon which was just an LPA before.  With winds up to 185 kph Odette left many areas with death and destruction.  Only 12 were reported dead but many more will be reported as they are recovered from bodies of water or recovered from destroyed houses and from debris of land slides  Many times mentioned were Cagayan de Oro City, Siargao (the surfing capital of the Philippines) Surigao City  (Iligan City)

Philippines which is all ready reeling from Covid19 has yet to face the task of rebuilding these typhoon wrecked areas.

 Destruction:

1.  Many roads are not passable due to  fallen trees;
2.  No electricity
3.  No telco cignal
4.  Many tourist attraction destroyed.

We just got word that former Pres. Noynoy Aquino just died today, at age 61 (renal disease).   May God bless his soul and may his death remind us the mortality of men and life and that we should stop maligning  each other.

Let us remember his good deeds and stop talking whatever shortcomings he has.  Let us not be caught between the sides who like him and  the the side that dislike him.

Former govt officials told me that being a govt official is a thankless job.  It was only after 15 years that his /their cases (fabricated or imagined cases) were dropped.   That is torture.    The friend I know developed a difficult heart (hurt excusse the pun) disease.    And that seems to be the pattern.

After Noynoy, Duterte will be next.?

Our enemy is covid19 - the pandemic not our citizens

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
4.12.2021

It is unfortunate that some of our efforts to curb covid19  the protocols like the curfew and the ensuing punishment are misguided.  Instead of fighting covid, we make life of people misereable and unbearable.
Some even resulted in death.   (in an arrest made in Cavite)

As the papers say, this is an overreach (excessive)  Military minds prevail at IATF.

Every life we save fighting covid19 is important;  this event does not seem to reflect this importance.

We should redirect more our efforts?   And be focussed.

What was the real cause of the death of Jesus Christ?

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines

Image result for how Jesus could have really died + Discovery

Last night Discovery featured an investigation on real cause of the Lord Jesus Christ death.  Was it crucifixion or there were other real causes.  The investigator was Michael Hunter

Using forensic evidence from experts and science, these were some of the conclusions:

1. That the Lord was all ready critical after the 40 lashes from flogging were inflicted. Flogging during the Roman times was painful, caused a lot of lacerations and trauma.  The tool used to flog was made of leather with iron balls within plus bone bits that were sharp. This was tried on a pig carcass.  And scientists concluded that the flogging alone could have caused massive internal injuries to the lungs, heart, caused
internal bleeding, loss of blood and shock

2.  Jesus falling 3 x while carrying the cross.   The trauma from falling carrying a 80 pound cross bar could have caused head and rib injuries contributing to # 1.  It was alleged that he carried only the heavy cross bar rather than the whole cross

3. The crucifixion.    Old pictures showed crucifixion victims being nailed through the palm or wrist and through the  ankle. But archeological evidence suggests that:

Those crucified were nailed through the sole and nailed at the side of the cross

That they were nailed with the arms over and on top of the cross bar and nailed with the palms facing the back of the  cross bar.  Thus the victim could rest with his arm resting on the cross bar. Some suggest that they had foot rest.  What was the reason:  to shame those being crucified and that they die slowly
and painfully as  an example to those being governed by the Romans.  It was a long shameful, painful punish
ment.  And it took days for the victims to die.  Why did Jesus die so soon mere 6 hours after the start of flogging.Well because the massive injuries from 1 and 2 and then the piercing of his side with a sword.

Perhaps, the images and sculptures  of Jesus Christ crucifixion can be corrected in the light of this
new findings

Crucifixion and Death of Jesus

20120507-Deposition Rembrandt_Harmensz._van_Rijn_071.jpg
The Deposition byRembrandt
Jesus is believed to have died sometime between A.D. 29 and A.D. 33. According to the Bible, Jesus was crucified on the cross which he was forced to carry at Golgotha ("the skull place" in Hebrew), or Calvary, at around three o'clock in the afternoon at the time of Passover, just before the Sabbath.
Many people were crucified in Jesus's time. Christ himself was crucified with two other convicted criminals. According to Luke: "When they reached the place called The Skull, there they crucified him and two criminals, one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, “Father forgive them for they do know what they are doing."
According to John: "The soldiers therein when they had crucified Jesus took His garments and made them in four part, to every soldier a part...After this, Jesus, knowing that all thing are now finished, that the Scripture might be accomplished, saith, I thirst. Thee was set there a vessel full of vinegar; so they put a sponge full of vinegar upon hyssop, and brought it to His mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar. He said, 'It is finished': and He bowed His head, and gave up His spirit."
Jesus was likely nailed to the cross with a nails hammered through his wrists and ankles not through wrists and ankles rather feet and hands. Based on how other crucifixions were carried out, Jesus likely carried the crossbeam of his cross, not the whole thing to Golgotha.
In 1968, archaeologists found the remains of a crucified man in a burial box outside Jerusalem whose wounds were remarkable similar to those described in the Bible as possessed by Jesus. His open arms had been nailed to a crossbar, his knees had been doubled and turned sideways, his legs were nailed on either side of the cross (not together as is often depicted in paintings) with a large iron spike driven horizontally through both heels. The anklebones had broken in a way that called to mind the passages in John. Although it was known that the Romans crucified thousands of alleged criminals and traitors, his was the first crucifixion victim ever found.
Jesus most likely died from loss of blood after a Roman centurion plunged a sword into the side of Jesus while his mother Mary, Mary Magdalene and his disciple John watched silently. His last words, according to the Bible, were “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Afterwards, according to Mark, “Jesus gave a loud cry and breathed his last...The centurion, who was standing in front of him. Had seen how he died, and said, “In truth, this man was the Son Of God." According to John 19:32-33: “Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and the other who had been crucified with him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs."

He said, they said; whom do we believe now

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
October 8, 2017

The general public, the readers of the news are getting confused. Whom do we believe now:   the mainstream media, or the bloggers?   The newspapers, the govt information office or other people in the know:

1.  Narco politicians

Take the case of a now on extended vacation City Mayor in West Visayas (and he may not return for good for fear of his life). The said mayor is in narco list of the administration and as a proof of the severity of the case, the bemedalled  police officer who saw the demise of two other mayors alleged to be on drug trade was to be transferred to his city (Fortunately the transfer was, may be because of public outrage was deferred).  The good mayor denied the alleged connection with the drug trade.

However, upon interviewing the residents, they told that nothing could be further from the truth.  They alleged the now dead No. 1 drug lord in the city, now dead, funded his election winning.

And then another drug lord, who cant be caught, finally was arrested when he  left the country

2. About the minors killed  alleged to be  innocent

There was an outcry over the minors, alleged to be innocent by their parents and their relatives.  The public and the relatives could have been led into this turmoil by  a  certain govt offices who want to be popular, and the media.  When there is controversy, copy and broad cast sell.

But we have to be critical of these kind of news.  The fact is many minors have become criminals:  engaged in drug trade, pretty crimes and even hold ups.   The parents naturally will not admit nor accept their young  children to be such.   Iba na mundo ngayon.  Maraming bata ang mga pasaway. And if the police operates against them, and they offer resistance, naturally we can say they asked for it.

Let us suspend our judgement and not jump into conclusion about these alleged involvement of the minors in crimes

DU30 cousin in Maute group died in Marawi City

From Davao Today DU30 admits he has cousin who joined the Maute group died

Pres Duterte revealed today that a cousin of his who is with the Maute group died in Marawi City.   That is sad that he ordered the declaration of martial law that resulted in death of a loved one.  But now one no longer worries why the build up in arms was tolerated in Marawi City.  One can not imagine the turmoil in the mind of the President or the schizoprenia he experiences in fighting the said war.

It is sad.

Some enlightenment from Brother Ely Soriano on various religious questions

It is more fun criticizing

i happen to watch occasionally TV shows at UNTV featuring bible exposition by its leader Bro Ely

His answer to the questions are revealing:

1.  Why do we pay for rituals?

Blessings and Bible are free.  The teachings of the scripture.  are free.  But why are some churches sell the Bible or make money out of the scriptures and rites.

2.  Is tithing a must?

To give 10th of your earnings to the church was only teaching. It refers to the Church of Israel.  Not the church of God.  You can give freely as you please to the Church of God and its not mandatory.

3.  Must a faithful attend church services on certain day.

Attending church services on a certain day, ie say 7th day or Sabbath is required under the church of Israel.  Its no longer required under the Church of God (time of Jesus)

4.  Why do young people die?

It is part of living.  All people who live must die.  It is our destiny. God wills it.   And after that judgement, and the promise of eternal life. Gods spirit can not over power death.

But while death can be ugly and sad for many, the promise of eternal life, after judgement, gives beauty and glamor to dying.

More bodies recovered, death toll now at 5,258 from Supetyphoon Yolanda

Social and political criticisms

From Manila Bulletin, November 21, 2013

More bodies are being recovered at the Supertyphoon Yolanda ravaged areas bringing up the death toll to 5258 according to Task Force Cadaver.  1,602 are still reported missing.  If the 1602 missing can not be accounted for, the death toll could reach 6, 800+ and there could be more.  The 10, 000 announcement by Police Officer Elmer Soria who was relieved as a Recon Commander for making such a huge number (to the embarrassment of PNoy) could be true after all.  Shall Pnoy reinstate him for being accurate?  Or will Amanpour do that for officer Soria?

Some 2, 145, 359 families, or 9,996,065 persons were displaced by the typhoon.

Good news -  Filipino nurses in the US would be coming home to assist in the disaster relief and rehab of affected areas

"US Nurses Reach Out
At least 1,500 nurses working in the United States will be Philippines-bound, dispatched in several batches, to augment Filipino medical contingents aiding the victims of super-typhoon “Yolanda.”
The first batch of volunteer-nurses, with disaster assessment experience, arrived in Manila from San Francisco over the weekend to join 36 other Filipino members of the 170,000-strong National Nurses United (NNU) already in the country.
The Registered Nurses Response Network (RNRN), a project of the California Nurses Foundation, launched a campaign to reach out to support local caregivers who are on the front lines right after news of the devastation to lives and property wrought by “Yolanda” in the Visayan region.
RNRN, also known as Heroes for Disaster Relief, called for volunteer nurses in the US and reponses were received from 50 states and its affiliate organizations in 12 other countries. Those who cannot come contributed to the response network funds. Each team will stay in affected areas in the country from 10 to 14 days for the humanitarian mission.
NNU had been in constant communication with the Philippine Alliance of Health Workers, an affiliate organization.
Zenei Triunfo Cortez, a top official of California nurses’ group, said every nurse sent was trained on disaster situations. Cortez, the first Filipino to head the group founded in 1903, added that the initial team “will effectively determine needs on the ground as we continue to contact volunteers.”
Filipino migrant Mary Faith Buenaventura, a medical neurology unit nurse at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose City, California, with training in disaster assistance, said she had not gone back to Manila for more than a decade, “but this time for a compelling and self-fulfilling reason to be of help.” (With reports from Hannah L. Torregoza and Luchie A. Arguelles)"
