In 2013 Congressional tiff, the  losing candidate alleged that LR received funding contribution ie. Loida Lewis, a multi billionaire widow from Bicol region.  Nothing was clear from that complaint by fmr. Cong.Nelly   Villafuerte who was defeated by VP Robredo.

Lately, for 2022 LR camp has been questioned for allegedly launching a volunteer site for crowdsourcing funding for the good VP candidacy.  No less than the now ally of the good VP  Commissioner Rowena Guanzon  warned of foreign contribution  to a campaign is prohibited and may lead to the disqualification

If indeed this is true, these dual citizen may kindly stop for unduly interfering in our purely domestic affiars.  If indeed, they care about our country by meddling in our elections, they should renounce their US citizenship live here and grapple with our problems 

Families, dynasties at Senate and in the entire country

The political system with Anti Dynasty provision notwithstanding is characterized by families lording it over the entire country.  It is a Yap Territory, Tan territory, bailwick of __________;   They have been running politics in this province since this is time immemorial.

It is like having a monarchial, family system running hte  country.    So at Senate we have family members:

1.  Cayetano  -   Pia and Allan;

2.  Villar  -  Mother and son

3.  Estrada -  Jinggoy and JV

Thats 6 out of 24 posts held by families

Had Binay made it, it would have been 4

Is it good for the country?   So far we know it is good for their families, especially if they have business interest to protect

So what do we expect?   Its all in the family?

How can we in sincerity defending the constitution.   That we are patriotic

Wage hikes not enough?

There are two opposing views on the wage hikes:

1.  Employer -  they are finding difficulties to grant this because of the business contraction from the pandemic.

2.  Employees -  the increase of P33/day is not enough to meet their daily needs. 

However some are thankful that this has been granted.  

Will investors avoid the Philippines due to BBM win?

The PSE dipped the day after BBM unofficial results came out.   There were reports that JP Morgan put PHL at the bottom of their investment list in ASEAN.   Mainly because of his academic credentials

This post does not think do.  PDU30 who admitted he is not an economist made sure he got a good economic team and managed the PHL economy well.   

Philippines has large population (high consumer and  local demand) is located centrally in Pacific region, has plenty of trained work force,    The investors will stay.   

If the fundamentals are good, if PHL is a good tourist destination and costs are low here, investors will continue to come here.   The conclusions allegation are illogical and do not make good sense

The investors will not bother much as to who leads the country 

Of late, the  ambassadors of many countries have paid courtesy call to the President elect showing the fake news to be fake
