Lessons learned from Pandemic

There are plenty of things we learn from coVid19.

1.  Learn to go back to basics - food, shelter, sleep, water, some entertainment

2. We appreciate life of patients and prisoners. Hence we visit the sick and those imprisoned once in a while

3. We appreciate our life and freedom we enjoy before the lockdown.

4. The panndemic brought the best and worst in people. Pick the best, disdain the worse

5. We learn to appreciate what really counts in life - hence appreciation for front liners

6. We appreciate the value of friends in social media.

7. In this difficult times, scammers take advantage of the confusion and still continue to be the devil that they are.

8. Many as we, turn back to religion and God. He alone can stop this pandemic.

9. What is essential is invisible to the naked eye. - "The Little Prince". The virus that has infected over 2million worldwide is invisible.

10. Beware of fake news. We must discern what is true

It is more fun criticizing

An artist, scriptwriter, businesswoman was arrested and detained early morning of Sunday for posting alleged fake news that 9,000, total residents of Zapatera  as center of the Solar System.  The woman, who imply she  is a lawyer claims her post does not aim to sow confusion. among the residents.  Sec 6f of the Bayanihan to Heal as One Law. The case was not filed by National Official but by the mayor.   It is up to the  court/fiscals to decide.   As to whether the arrest is unconstitutional (the  entire law must be declared unconstitutional  - But section 7 says that this law must prevail.)

The more important fear being sowed is among those who bash, curse, or include political issues in their post with regards to the coVid19 post which includes and not limited to posts on SAP, handling of the crisis and morel

The President has been empowered and authorized by the power vested in him by the nation to use ways and means to execute plans and orders of his govt.   He might use this correctly or abuse this, but he has that authority over ordinary citizens who oppose him or wrongly accuse him/her  falsely.

Its time to delete or modify post or apologize publicly. There are 3 laws that can be thrown towards the basher:    the cybercrime law, the Revised Penal Code on libel and defamation and Section 6f of the Bayanihan to Heal as One Law.

This post has yet to see the outline of what needs to be done and their timelines as we lift the lockdown:  what are the phases, order of restoration, continued assistance to displaced workers and business

Is it going to be a total lifting or selective, ie lift lockdown in areas where there are fewer number of cases and retain where the pandemic still persists?

At the same time, how is the health/pandemic problem to be handled.   The virus continues to be virulent in the bodies of recovered and asymptomatic  individuals.   So we expect reinfection and recurrence of pandemic.  What are the redflags for the reimposition of lockdown.

Is this the reason why Sec. Pernia resigned -  he and the rest of the cabinet members cant agree on lifting of lockdown? He wants malls to resume operations soon? What about the health issues?

Covid 19 origin - a conspiracy theory that it started in US

This post received a post at social media yesterday.  However, it seems that the post is deleted and could not forward the same to other friends through messenger, nor post at it at the same soc media platform where it started.  The picture of the covid19 labelled train bulk carrier is disturbing

This article may get me into trouble...???  This is just to save the post picture for posterity.  Surely, the US side would not like the world to see this theory and hypothesis

The post posit that the real source of the virus is from US because (as contained in the article)   of the following reasons:

1. There is a P5 laboratory in Maryland that delves in hazardous and deadly diseases:  Anthrax, SARS etc which although ordered closed due to non observance of waste water disposal still continue to operate

2.  The post alleges the Chinese spokesman version that the virus was brought to China who participated in the Wuhan War Games. There were 300 soldiers sent, no one won an event.  The soldiers went around Wuhan.

3. There is a long story that the reserarch started in University of North Carolina, and Chinese savants were involved;

4.  The findings that there are 4 to 5 versions/strain of the coronavirus around the world, and US has all the strains.

5.  There are speculations that US is the source since logiccally, if it has all the strains, then the conclusion is that  it is the source.

6.  The Wuhan theory can explain the Wuhan, Japan, Korea  (Italy becasuse of the Wuhan and Northern Italy business ties)  but not the US pandemic, nor high number of cases  in US - more than half a million, and that of Spain, France UK and Germany.   Why is there such a big number in US - due to the porous travel between US and China.
