Malaysian Airlines to cut 6,000 jobs

It is more fun criticizing

From NY post

As predicted, Malaysian Airlines faced financial woes, as its revenues were severely affected by twin disasters:  MH 370 bound for Beijing, which disappeared at the Indian Ocean and MH 17 which was shot down by (Ukraine, pro or rebels) by a SAM.  Prior to this, Malaysian Airlines was in financial difficulty.

The trading of its shares has likewise been suspended.

Malaysian Airlines will cut 6,000 workers, or 1/3 of its workforce, and the government will assume 100% of its equity.

Will this solve the woes of the airline?

Or is does it have to rebrand?
