Sen Dick proposes suspension of the writ of habeas corpus in support of the anti drug war from Philstar
Sen Dick Gordon filed delivered a speech before Senate and proposed that the writ of habeas corpus be suspended to support Pres. Du30 in his fight against drugs. Sen de Lima is opposing such a measure. Pres Du30 has all ready declared a state of emergency and lawless violence as provided for by the constitution. She said this is creeping towards martial law.
This post agrees this time with the good lady Senator. There must be sufficient check and balance this time
