Millions join INC peace rally; belittled dismissed by Former Senators

Nearly 1.5 million members joined the INC peace rally.   Fmr lady senator dismissed this cannot stop the impeachment of VP Sarah (why do Solons hesitate to endorse the impeachment, why do candidates troop to the ministers house beofe the election.

The said former lady senator joined the impeachment rally at the Galleria Chapel.  Crowd estimate was only about 200.   Talk about minority

Fmr rebel DND sec and senator criticized the INC rally for flaunting they are too powerful to influence the govt.   Which the President seconded.

Well every body is saying impeachment is a political exercise and not a legal exercise.   The will of the people must prevail.  Why do we talk about  People Power?  Vox Populi?

In a surprise development at HOR, the senior deputy speaker Sandro Marcos moved for declaring the position of HOR committee on appropiation, one of the most powerful committees in the House to be vacant.  

No one sure the reason for this.  One can only speculate about the budget mess, the flood control programs in Bicol which resulted in more floods, and allegations of inappropiate lifestyle. 

This coincided with INC KOJC rally for peace that resulted in more than a million attendance.

What will happen next.?

This post expects the joint INC KOJC peace rally just to be that -  peaceful.   The mass action was allegedly to be in support of VP Sarah Duterte vs attempts to unseat her via impeachment (and massive corruption in the govt.)

Its either that it is peaceful or extreme that of polarization of society:   between Luzonians and Visayas, of politics:   betweeen pro Duterte and pro PBBM         

Why KOJC was treated with force and congreassional hearing? Why not other sects, INC

One wonders why KOJC Quiboloy is being put on the spot?  Why not Roman Catholic church or INC, or other sects?  Dont KOJC  deserve respect as a religious group?  Dont other religious groups commit same crime as is being impguned on KOJC?   Even to  appointed son of God....

Nearing Judgement Day on May 9, 2022

After months  of planning hard work on caravan, parades, meetings, publications at TV and soc media, everything comes to stop tomorrow.   On May 9, on Monday, comes judgement day.    This post dare say:

1.   Its a match up only between BBM SD, and LR and  KP

2.  Its a battle between the two on surveys and number of attendees on meeting;

3.  Many are worried about surveys and some came out with their own fabricated surveys which were

     promptly taken down.  While many are saying that surveys are mind conditioning and should be

     disregarded, the fact is the surveys correctly predicted the outcome of election

   

         1. PRRD victory

         2.  Leni Robredo victory as VP

         3.  GMA victory

         4.  Erap victory

    Otherwise the survey firm would not have earned anything or closed shop.  The fact is they can be 

    relied on and are used extensively in planning marketing campaigns.

4.  It is very likely as of now with all big wig support to BBM:   INC support, the governors commitment El Shaddai, BBM is most likely to win.  The surveys:   OCTA  Publicus,  Pulse Asia say 

this

5.  On his own BBM would have gotten only 15 to 20%;  the large percentage was brought about 

      by Pres daughter Sara who enjoy many supporter of her father (at 60% too).  BBM got the other

      35 to 40% on SD popularity

5.  However we do not know what trouble awaits BBM

    1.  Final decision on his DQ;  He could be DQ' SD takes his place.  Is he or is he not guilty 

         of crimes involving moral turpitude:   on his ITR, and Estate Tax

    2.  US action on his election  - will there be destabilization moves.  All ready many US

         publications are ranting vs BBM

6.  Questions that we must ponder;

     1.   Will BBM be an able leader?

     2.  Is he not a puppet?

     3.  Will there be stealing of govt properties and wealth as some had been advocating

While there are not too many deaths and killings, the interactions posts at say FB have rabid and 

devoid of civility.    Posting  cemetery markers near the name of candidate are not nice or calling 

somebody as criminals without sufficient proof.   

Or will SD be the new President?

We should congratulate Iglesia ni Cristo for their leadership in many areas:

1.  show of force and unity in helping the community;

2.  putting up the large arena and showing their achievements for the last 100 years;

The church received the two awards from Guinness  yesterday, Sunday July 27, 2014 for two achievements

1.  largest indoor mixed use arena,

2.  largest choir which had 4,745 singers.  The previous record had 1711 singers.

INC holds the record for largest single day charity event.  (This one snarled traffic in MM for hours).

The church deserves the greetings from everyone on its 100 years of existence and for these two records

From Inquirer - INC medical mission paralyzes Metro Manila

Edwil Zabala, spokesman for yeterday's "Kabayan ko, kapatid ko" outreach program to other religious group denied it was muscle flexing by the religious group INC.  There were various estimate as to the size of crowd which paralyzed MM (from low of 700t to 3 million).

It was the first time the event was held in Manila creating huge disruptions in schools, offices and even in court hearings.  Even Mayor Erap lamented the holding of the event and suggested that it should have on week end so as not cause this much disruption.

The INC event was held in 5 years:   Lawton (Manila Post Office)  Recto, Quiapo, (near Isetann and underpass) Plaza del Carmen, Quinta Market.  INC hired 5,000 buses to ferry INC members from the provinces (I overheard in an fx where the coordinator was calling for 1000 buses from Southern Tagalog area, and another from Bulacan area)    So there you are you have a picture why the big big massive traffic jam

However the foundation that held this, the Felix Y Manalo Foundation said that Monday was the only available date available prior to the group's departure for USA where they will hold a similar event. They had similar event in Paranaque and La Union.

The event consisted of medical and dental mission and distribution of relief packs

The massive traffic occurred as some major streets were blocked off to ferry participants to Manila.

I think they held this as a show of force and connection with the local government, no matter  who are inconvenienced.

Zabala said the purpose of the event was to spread the word of God.
