More trouble and firewaorks again.    So the  quadcomm was a fishing expedition to bait  VP so that impeachment can proceed.

As of now the Pres power seems to be weakened by this move as he directed that impeachment should not proceed.

More weakness if SD survives the impeachment....She has allies too and people support.

The joint meeting of Congress and Senate today convening as National Board of Canvassers proclaimed both Ferdinand Marcos Jr, and Sara Zimmerman Duterte Carpio  as Pres Elect and VP Elect. . Its no longer presumptive but Pres and VP elect.  Their status, power and authority have changed.

Senator Migs Zubiri said the proclamation is a time for first:

1.  Having majority President and VP elect with both having more than 55% votes garnered (58% for BBM and 61% for SD)

2.  Both Pres and VP came from same party;

3.  North and South winning candidates

4.  Fastest canvass (only took 25 hours)

5.  Both Pres and VP are children of former Presidents

6.  Highest voter turn out at 80%

Both heads of the Congress and Senate thanked the  group of Leni Robredo for having waived their attendance in the event, and not objecting to election returns which was great sign of patriotism and greatness. This eased the tension despite protests of progressive groups at CHR.  As a result, the canvassing proceeded fast and somoothly 

The canvass proceeded despite pending cases at Supreme Court.   The said body gave 15 days to comment, and did not issue a TRO which was beyond the power of the said body over the canvass, and which could have led to a constitutional crisis.  The other issues vs BBM and or his family would be taken up as separate case and in its own venue.   

The proclamation saw the return in full force of the Marcoses:   BBM Imee, Irene and former FL. 

Despite dark clouds ahead:    the rally at CHR, the threat of further DQ by Supreme Court or a PET complaint, and IOM criticism efforts by rich Fil ams to discredit this election, the mood was festive and looked glorious and pompous and awe inspiring.  The people have spoken And for BBM and SD 

All ready we can see changes:

1.  Mellowed down posts of a soc media about BBM, posts are friendlier and or neutral (no editorializing)

2.  Opponents posing pictures with BBM

Its now different that BBM SD are proclaimed.  They are now elected and whatever cases are pending would surely take great efforts and maybe at least 6 years to finish.   

Nearing Judgement Day on May 9, 2022

After months  of planning hard work on caravan, parades, meetings, publications at TV and soc media, everything comes to stop tomorrow.   On May 9, on Monday, comes judgement day.    This post dare say:

1.   Its a match up only between BBM SD, and LR and  KP

2.  Its a battle between the two on surveys and number of attendees on meeting;

3.  Many are worried about surveys and some came out with their own fabricated surveys which were

     promptly taken down.  While many are saying that surveys are mind conditioning and should be

     disregarded, the fact is the surveys correctly predicted the outcome of election

   

         1. PRRD victory

         2.  Leni Robredo victory as VP

         3.  GMA victory

         4.  Erap victory

    Otherwise the survey firm would not have earned anything or closed shop.  The fact is they can be 

    relied on and are used extensively in planning marketing campaigns.

4.  It is very likely as of now with all big wig support to BBM:   INC support, the governors commitment El Shaddai, BBM is most likely to win.  The surveys:   OCTA  Publicus,  Pulse Asia say

5.  On his own BBM would have gotten only 15 to 20%;  the large percentage was brought about 

      by Pres daughter Sara who enjoy many supporter of her father (at 60% too).  BBM got the other

      35 to 40% on SD popularity

5.  However we do not know what trouble awaits BBM

    1.  Final decision on his DQ;  He could be DQ' SD takes his place.  Is he or is he not guilty 

         of crimes involving moral turpitude:   on his ITR, and Estate Tax

    2.  US action on his election  - will there be destabilization moves.  All ready many US

         publications are ranting vs BBM

6.  Questions that we must ponder;

     1.   Will BBM be an able leader?

     2.  Is he not a puppet?

     3.  Will there be stealing of govt properties and wealth as some had been advocating

While there are not too many deaths and killings, the interactions posts at say FB have rabid and 

devoid of civility.    Posting  cemetery markers near the name of candidate are not nice or calling 

somebody as criminals without sufficient proof.   

Or will SD be the new President?

Times Survey

While this post does not want people to believe a in surveys, a form of inductive reasoning, from particular to universal (the anecdotes, the small sample does not represent the whole)   there is some indication to think about the forthcoming trend.  This post does not favor any particular candidate.  

This despite mudslinging all ready being waged vs. BBM

This may swing support for the winning pair.  

The survey shows the  BBM SD tandem to be leading with more than 50% favoring the pair.  (55.7%)  The announcement now makes the administration candidate worthy of the fight with the opposition which drew unprecedented support.  

We have to see how the survey will fare.
