While other posts praise the growing PHL economy (now no 34 in GDP ranking!!!) others just like this post criticize its performance and say PHL is a house of cards    

As someone who has invested in the countryside, and go around frequently for the site visit, Ii conclude that much local investment has been made and we can not escape the fact that there is progress and much stride has been made in country side development.  And the truth is Western countries cant help but notice the growth rate of the PHL and that it has become an alternative for sites of manufacturing for those who leave China or Vietnam

Certain level of skill and ability has been built on AI, computers, semiconductor and even on infrastructure design and construction by Filipino architects and engineers

Self development personal improvement is prevalent among Filipinos and that is something not mentioned in the article/video.

We can move forward despite the questionable leadership in the country   

Will crackdown on POGOs and its banning lead to elimination of SCAM activites in the country

Despite the compulsory order by a law on SIM registration, scams and other online crimes or crimes via texxt persisted. 

The POGOS were suspected of carrying out these scams.   Will the current crackdown and announcement of PBBM to permanentlhy ban POGO lead to elimination of scams via cp and compputers?

And points to the connection to the former top chieftains of the country based in the South?   Wht will be effect of these findings on forthcoming midterm, and presidential elections?

How will this affect power structure in the country?  Peace and order situation

Sang ayon sa dating PNP head fmer Senator ang incident ito na ito kung totoo ay kahiya hiya.  

Malaking halaga daw ang ibinayad para tulungan ang dating mayor ng Bamban na involved sa POGO.

Kaya iimbestigahan ang mga dating PNP chief.   May nabalita ding isang dating Chief of Police ay binabayaran ng P1 million linggo - linggo.  

Hindi ito kataka taka ganito ang mangyari kasi may pinatakas na suspect sa bombing sa LRT sa milyon2 na grease money.    Halos kalahating B iyon.  Kaya hindi manalo sa local election ang nasabing opisyal sa local election. 

Ang mga association ng dating hepe ng AFP at PNP ay nanawagan na liwanagin ng hepe ng seguridad sa PAGCOR na claruhin kung sino ang nasabing protector ng POGO para hndi lahat ng dating PNP chief ay mabahiran ang malilinis nilang pangalan

Some economist say the effect will be minimal.  Govt officials say that the revenue from POGO is not that much.  China welcomed the banning of POGO

There is much negative social effect:   source of criminality, scams, well losses from gambling.  And as the Senate investigation is pointing out, can be source of security risk -  espionage. Some of their workers could be spies, or soldiers of the PLA

All ready, real estate companies are predicting drop in rents as many offices will be vacated.  Initially the real estate market reacted.  The prices of real estate companies drooped days after the POGO ban was announced.

The 10 year siege of Troy by Greece was ended with the introduction of the Trojan horse.  A Trojan horse with Greek soldiers in the abdomen was placed in front of the closed gates of Troy.  The horse was taken in by the Trojans,   Once inside the Greek soldiers went out opened the gates and let the rest of Greek Army come in and attack the walled city of Troy

Right now without getting into a war, due to the unrestricted warfare of the other protagonist  we have all ready the Trojan war within:

      1.  Electronic C....e equipment which could have been spying in the country;

      2.  Hundreds of thousands of offshore gaming workers.   They were alleged to have with them

           P...A military uniform

      3.  Citizens with same blood or countrymen (and leaders) who are sympathetic to their nation

      4.  Thousands of  C...e students who are located near strategic locations in the country

If there should be a war, its going to be over once this staets.  

Think again if we are going to war.

Gaming industry and Chinese workers driving up real estate prices in Manila

Yesterday, I was in the office of a former chair of Real Estate Company of the government, a former banker  who told me the fantastic real estate deals in MM.  Condo price/sm has risen to a record of P500,000/sm (up from mere P100,000 about 3 years ago)   In Forbes Park there were real estate deals involving sale of house and lot running in Billions of pesos.  Incredible but true.  What could be the reason?

1.  Well may be the market is awash in liquidity what with low interest rates on the bank deposit (1/4 of 1%)
     the BPO and OFW dollar remittances.

2.  But the more important thing is the influx of Chinese workers for POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Offices) (Phil is now the number 1 gaming spot in Asia even bigger than Macau and Singapore with most of them in the Bay (MoA area)  The developers there are having it so good like Double Dragon.  The Chinese according to Injap are paying at 30% premium.  and has pdc for say a 5 year contract.

There could be 200,000 or more Chinese workers (so BI is having a heyday hehe2 for its ....activities)
and have driven up prices of housing and office rental.  The Chinese invasion of the WPC is bad for us but the POGO invasion is doing good for the business and the financial markets...
