With barely a month to go before the May 9 elections, the BBM Duterte tandem has but all have the election wrapped up for themselves:  (except when in en banc the Comelec DQ BBM  (but which it will

try to avoid to do given that with such a majority, there could be a major political upheaval)

In the SPLAT kalye survey, the rating of BBM is 62% one of the highest in the history.  This covers the period April 1-10 involving 3,000 respondents.  

      1.  40% lead in the latest survey; this means a lead of 24 million in the Magdalo and SWS survey

           covering March

      2.  Cebu  QC  Cavite, all vote rich committing majority vote to the tandem;

      3.  90% of  governors pledged their support to BBM

The BBM SD tandem, perhaps having the resources perhaps got the best money can buy:   advisers,,  campaign manager strategists

     1.  Focused on the positive

     2.  Clear and easy to remember messages:  Unity, Gagalinng and Paggaling

     3.   Use of science in the campaign -  focus on vote rich areas, and where they are lagging

     4.   Going to the grass roots and utilization of political connection

     5.   Use to the hilt of social media to:

          1.  Deflect the negative

          2.   Negate the claim of very high attendance at their rallies.   A 220,000  claim in Pampanga

               was analyzed by a YT cohort was estimated to be only 70,000 which the PNP later on                             confirmed

         3.  Various influencers here and abroad to speak about issues being thrown to BBM.  The

              tandem used silence and preferred that underlings and followers, take the butt of the

              mudslinging

While this post does not want people to believe a in surveys, a form of inductive reasoning, from particular to universal (the anecdotes, the small sample does not represent the whole)   there is some indication to think about the forthcoming trend.  This post does not favor any particular candidate.  

This despite mudslinging all ready being waged vs. BBM

This may swing support for the winning pair.  

The survey shows the  BBM SD tandem to be leading with more than 50% favoring the pair.  (55.7%)  The announcement now makes the administration candidate worthy of the fight with the opposition which drew unprecedented support.  

We have to see how the survey will fare.

In democracy, majority rules, the minority should abide by the decision of the majority (of course while continuing to oppose and fiscalize)  But the polls recently conducted shows 71.6 % or 2 out of 3 of MM residents favor the burial of the late President at LNMB.  

So only a minority objects.  Let the dead bury its dead.

Poe Duterte lead in latest SWS survey

Sen Grace Poe and  City Mayor Duterte are tied for first place (actually Grace is at 34% and Duterte at 33%) in the latest survey conducted by SWS for TV 5 Roxas, Binay are behind, with Sen Santiago at the back of the race.

 For VP, Rep Leni Robredo is first and followed by Sen Ferdinand Marcos. This was done last April 14, 2016 after the VP debate.   Sen. Chiz Escudero slid down in the ranking.   Last was Sen Gringo Honasan, whom analyst does not have strong desire to win.

There is a 4% degree of error on the survey which covers 1,200 respondents via mobile phone

So Poe/Duterte -  Bong2/Leni

What is your prediction?

Mine is Duterte Bongbong (Although Duterte made unsavory remarks over an Australian rape victim.  He is likely to be unaffected by the incident)

I talked to somebody wearing a Duterte wristband while having breakfast (lugaw lang) in Morong.  He asked me who my President is and I punched his fist and said same. He is Manny Pantaleon who used to work as graphic designer for a Weekly Mag.   He said most of the OFW  in ME who want change are for Duterte. It was at the expense of Sec Roxas and VP Binay,  Poes rating also went down (wait the numbers do not add up?)

And the latest survey shows that Duterte leads the latest survey.   From 2nd to 1st.  And Bong2 Marcos despite campaigns on the contrary, now leads the VP race.   Just as this post predicted.
