About 36% of the Filipinos believe that Pres PNoy strayed from his promised path of tuwid na daan, and only 29% believe that he has fulfilled his promise. The "tuwid na daan" referring to fight vs pollution was used in 2010 to win votes.
That there was PDAF, DAP and many of the President's men are under suspicion of wrongdoings may have contributed to this perception.
His campaign vs Abalos, Corona, GMA seem to be on the right path, but some view this as a way of getting even; his behavior in Tacloban in dispensing aid after the Yolanda aftermath, seem to have weakened the perception that he is hell bent on eradicating corruption; and lately backing up a friend under fire. So with anomalies of shooting buddies working in the govt who failed to deliver.
