Sen Poe not convinced with Purisimas explanation

It is more fun criticizing

From Rappler

The very soft spoken Sen Grace Poe who presided over the hearing on PNP chief Purisima, as well as fellow Senator Serge Osmena was unconvinced about the explanation and the leadership of Purisima (is he related to the Sec of DOF?)

1. The number of crimes went up in 2014 vs 2013  (contrary to the claims of the Chiefs spokesman (who admits announcing without verifying -  Sindac)  This does not included unreported crimes

2. Chief Purisima gave himself a rating of 9 (out 10) on how well he runs the PNP (with all the anomalies) while Sen Poe gave him a 4;

3.  The solicitation of materials and their acceptance is prohibited under the Code of Ethics for Govt Employees  (Sec 7 par d)  RA 6713

    "d) Solicitation or acceptance of gifts. - Public officials and employees shall not solicit or accept, directly or indirectly, any gift, gratuity, favor, entertainment, loan or anything of monetary value from any person in the course of their official duties or in connection with any operation being regulated by, or any transaction which may be affected by the functions of their office.
4.  He should have prioritized the requirement of PNP hospital rather than the White House, being more concerned with the welfare of his men.

5.  His salary of P100,000 a month as PNP chief does not justify the assets that he has:   the TLC which cost P6 m but which he allegedly got for only P1.5 million, his San Leonardo Estate.

Sen Poe continues to suggest to Purisima to go on leave while this investigation is going on and that she may file charges vs. the PNP chief

Meanwhile Pres Pnoy and Malacanang continues to defend Purisima
