Unofficial count results for the Pres and VP not surprising

It is more fun criticizing

For those who pooh poohed the surveys, maybe they should reconsider their points of view regarding SWS, Pulse Asia, Publicus, OCTA research.  The unofficial results based on ABS CBN feed

As of 2:32 AM, May 10, 2022, Marcos Jr., the standard-bearer of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, obtained 29,319,865 votes, based on 92 percent of partial, unofficial election results.   (from Comelec transparency server)

Leni Robredo got 13, 986, 496

This is consistent with the survey results that gave 57% of the  survey to BBM and 25% to VP Leni

Let us do the math:

          60,000,000 x 92%  =  29,319,865/55,200,000    31.46% =   53%

                                              13,986,496                                       =25.33%

This should not come as a surprise.   The campaign managers the  strategists for the campaign should have paid attention to this numbers and did their best as early as January to cause the needle to move

What surprised every one was that Robin Padilla topped bested all other candidates in the Senatorial race.  This again should not come as a surprise  (and a surprise to the surveys because Tulfo and/or Loren were the consistent topnotcher.   Well it is all about popularity
