But the majority of _________are law abiding, God fearing (as excuse) for a group of terrorists and imperialists

It is more fun criticizing

This sort of argument is always forwarded for terrorist groups:   Nazi, jihadist, Hamas, Japanese etc.   Only 10%-20% were bad apples, and the majority of the people are good.  They will not hurt a fly.

Only 19 people executed the 9/11 murder in USA, but what did the rest of 1.2 Billion brethren do?
Nothing.

They just let the minority did their heinous crimes, and did nothing.

So right now, we are dealing with many good businessmen Chinese.    Many of them are needed because the majority of them are entrepreneurs, and hence many of them are millionaires and billionaires because they have good business sense, are frugal and hard working.

I have Chinese business partners.  They have been very kind and understanding.  They give us gifts during Christmas, Chinese New Year and remember our birthdays.

And yet we see as small minority and we are offended by their actions who take silly action in WPS that harm us for a little bit of territory for the sake of military and political glory.  Only the heads of CCP and
Xi want glory for imperialism, the Silk and Road initiative (which turned to be a great failure)  The China first (which all leaders use as mantra) is only wanted by a few in a leadership.

Time and time again, we have seen how conquest fail because of the huge expenses and administrative energy needed to maintain the empire/colony

We hope this time the rest of 80-90% of the population of neighboring country see the light and realize that it is better to be at peace and prosperous.

Influencers social media make shaping of citizenry difficult

It is more fun criticizing

A political scientist from UP said that the  social media and influencers weighing heavily vs the  traditional media has made the  shaping of citizens under the  democratic set up a challenge.

Just anybody can make a comment, post a video that goes viral.  At no time in Philippine politics that so much hate and so much disagreement, so much negative campaigns that even contain cursing been observed.  No respect and regards to human dignity and rights were observed.  The posts could have been made by trolls supporters or ordinary netizen

There are predictions that some social media platforms may see demise in 2 to 3 years.  And finally we can breathe  with sign of relief.

Civility must return to political campaigns and election

Very rough sailing for Federalism, charter change?

Image result for Federalism now cremated +Lacson

There are many signs on the wall that signals rough sailing for the approval of charter change for Federalism
No less than the allies of the administration, Sen Lacson openly declared that the said idea is about to cremated. (He  later said that it has become ashes)

From GMA news. Cha2 for federalism about to be cremated at Senate

The two top economic managers Sec. Dominguez and Pernia expressed concerns about the huge budget deficit that will be incurred resulting in down grade of  PHL credit rating, causing increase in borrowing costs.

From PDI - Moody's - shift to ffederalism downside for PHL economy

The surveys also show that many of those surveyed do not favor federalism.

Many are also critical of the contents of the proposed charter change, including the prohibition regarding its amendment (in case there was a mistake or a failure)

No doubt the administration will leave no stone unturned, expenditures will not be and issue and all means to get this thing pushed passed.

Another political experiment,  where at the end of the day, the majority of  people suffer and not thought of repairs are thought of as in the TRAIN law.   The law which was purportedly to benefit many due to higher tax exemption, resulted in price increase (inflation) officially pegged at nearly 6% But in reality, prices of say rice, fish, and meat resulted in 100% price increase.   Ano nangyari.?

This will call for wage increases which will result again in increase of prices. And the vicious spiral continue

With regards to excise tax on fuel (you only impose that on luxury  and harmful substances right and fuel is a necessity) resulted in an environment of high fuel prices.  And then subsidy is being made to jeepney drivers.  What is the whole point?

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
July 27, 2018

1.  Do not wound the  Queen.

Ama at anak at iba pang kamag anak.  Mabuti na check maaga isa pang anak na balitang may puwersa
        sa isang ahensya ng gobyerno

   2. Si GMA

Kangino malaki political
debt kay Bong2 o GMA.    O between Alvarez at GMA sino mas malaki naitulong kay DU30

3.  Blood is thicker than water.

3.  There are no permanent friends in politics, only changing alliances and self interest

Kailangang magbasa pa nang The Prince, if  this post may suggest.

Walang tokhang.  He6. Ingat po lagi mga kabayan.  Pray always

Political and economic woes in Venezuela

It seems like a flash since April Fools Day.

We may not be aware of it but Venezuela is experiencing great political (social) and economic turmoil.

Protests are frequent occurrences (because of hunger
                                                  and few working days )
Economic:

1.  Inflation is at 1,600% .  It is predicted to be half this year but at 2,000% in 2018.

2.  Food and medicine is at short supply, There is even lack of electricity, despite the fact that it sits on top on one of the richest oil deposit in the world.  Most of the food is imported.

3.  Unemployment is at massive 25%

4.  The govt has taken over multinational companies who shuttered down their operations and pulled out of the country.

PHOTO: An empty supermarket is pictured in Caracas, on May 28, 2016. This is attributed to:  socialist policies of predecessor of Pres. Maduro.  (Chavez)  The only solution is hike wages, and food stamps for people, and resort to rationing.

Change of currency, devaluation, more borrowings will mean the country being nearer collapse, (exacerbate the matters)

Oil was nationalized by the govt (it took ownership of oil production facilities from private owners) and accounts for 95% of country/s export and 25% of the GDP.  But oil price has taken a beating because of too much inventory, and cracks at OPEC.  (Even Saudi has made massive borrowings to make up for shortfall in national budget) and focused its growth target on non oil business

It was concluded by experts that the country is unlikely to make its debt payments this year and will need massive intervention from the IMF.

DUTERTE IN ANTIPOLO/ MARCH 7 2016 PDP-LABAN Standard Bearer, Presidential bet Mayor Rodrigo Duterte poses for a selfie with his supporter in Antipolo Ciapitol during his visit in Rizal today. The Davao City Mayor discussed his thorough platform for the Presidential seat and fired back against the alleged poor leadership of the administration and senatorial bet Leila De Lima on her accusations against Mayor Duterte. MBPHOTO/CAMILLE ANTE

Presidential Candidate Digong Duterte and VP running mate Alan Cayetano visited the office of Governor of Rizal who was represented by Former Gov, and husband of governor Nini Ynares.   Duterte Cayetano and his supporters were given warm support by Rizalenos.

The no show of the current governor reminds us of the incident where Marcos invited the Rodriguez for a certain election campaign.  The then Gov. Isidro Rodriguez, the Rizal kingpin said, who needs who must come here (A show of egotism, and power)  The strongman, came over to Rizal to curry the favor.   However, after FM got what he wanted, he butchered Rizal into MMDA and removed the cash rich municipalities from Rizal, considerably weakening the Rizal kingpin - Rodriguez.   Do we need to  be reminded of the lessons of history.

If Duterte gets elected he may abolish political dynasties and the Ynares would be affected. And so are the known drug lords in Rizal

"Kayo ang aking boss" what does it mean?#KBL (Kasal, Binyag, Libing

It is more fun criticizing

From Sona of Pnoy - from Inquirer

Rizal  Philippines   |  October 9, 2014

For all we know, this is a political gimmickiry.  All aimed at getting votes.

That means too that the President must pay the price:   favors, employment,  contracts, and maybe DAP and PDAF.

No less than the President himself declared war vs KBL -  Kasal Binyag Libing.  They pose difficulty for all elected govt officials.  Yet political patronage, our political system, the slogan. "kayo ang aking boss" dictates that the elected official given in to that. Such a contradiction.

Leyte residents victim of deadly typhoon and politics?

It is more fun criticizing,

Philippines   |  November 23, 2013

There was this news at Asia News that mentioned about Casiple analyzing why there was a standstill in the distribution of relief goods in Leyte after the supertyphoon Yolanda.  There was a comment by the anchor that the residents of Leyte  suffered from two deadly attacks:  that of the typhoon and politics.   Political grandstanding, (rather than positive action) found its way into the aftermath of the disaster and we know the adverse results

Right after the typhoon the President visited Tacloban and met with the local officials.  The mayor was surnamed Romualdez (Alfred), an enemy of the President's family.  As a political rival, you know, there would be lack of support for relief, rescue.  And Casiple remarked that the President should have acted as President of the PHL not as President of Liberal Party.

I hope it is not.  Now there is Senator Poe proposing a new law strengthening disaster preparednesss.

I would like to say:

1. There are the NDRRMC  and whose leadership and procedures may just need to be tweaked/improved:

2.  There is the RA 7077 whose primary mission is disaster and relief operations;  the officers who are heads of the companies can be mobilized to assist in the relief operations using the assets of their company;  but that will smack of martial law (but we have such a law).

3. I just witnessed this morning the water rescue team of a nearby town and the members told me that they had a budget for training, drills, supplies, equipment

What else do we need?
