Every empire that tried to bring down Iran eventually collapsed; will USA be next

It is more fun criticizing

All empires that tried to defeat Iran eventually folded up:    Alexander the Great,  Arabs Mongols, Russia, Iraq, and then the USA?

Will these trend be followed by events that are unfording?

What are teh factors to consider:

1.  Manpower needed to control Iran 3.0 million
2.   Expensive technology by US to fight Iran
3.   Assymetry of economics:   swarming cheap drones vs expensive
4.   Huge cash needed to maintain war $900.00 million  (1 billion a day) vs guerilla and
survival proxy war;    impoverishing domestic US economy

US views the war as only one dimensional;   Iran uses 3 other dimensions:

   1.  Economic -   Hormuz can slow down world economy using Hormuz (without closing this)
by projectig fear and alarm  (by using drones and boats) and thus spooks insurance...

   2.  Political -  water and food  (can be spooked by Iran   as their neighbors get food through Hormuz.
Thus the war can turn the conflict into humanitarian crisis...

US is now becoming an isnurance provider.

  3.   Petro dollar -   these conflict are eroding the power of petrodollar and puts difficulty in financing            the  war

  4.  Hometown narrative -  if the population in USA no longer supports nor believes the narrative.

Confirms the thesis that war is not won on battle strategies or military tactics; but on logistics

It is more fun criticizing

The analysis is a masterpiece of critical thinking of the first principle, ie breaking down the weapons in its component.  Those are Pentagon did a masterful thinking on this campaign -  destroy the capability to produce the weapon that can swarm, and the asssymeteric warfare is gone.

Peace to be here back soon.

Congrats to US.  But the real purpose of the war is not that venerable, is it?  (Smokescreen for the domestic problems and conflicts and the loss of Petro dollars, Japan currency fiasco)

2026 will be pivotal in Baba Vangas prediction for 2026

It is more fun criticizing

In Baba Vangas prediction (the modern Nostradamus?) the centerpoint is USA and Pres Donald Trump
She was accurate in predicting the rise to power of first Afro American Obama.  She made her prediction about Trump long before he became a politician.  She was blind and illiterate and her predictions were chronicled by historians, relatives and people around her.

1.  America would experience the great divide:   conflicts

2  Donald Trump would return to power but he will face a lot of legal obstacles even from people around him (its happening with Republicans who want him out)

3.  America would lose its power over its former allies with the demise of dollar as world currency and internal economic crisis  (debts, deficits etc)

4.  America especially the Western side would experience many catastrphe from sea and volcanic activity.

5.  America would face real scarcity not from lack of production but problems in its logistics (happening now in California due to scarcity of fuel, banning of diesel trucks and many more)

Do you believe in prediction?  Is this relevant

Cong Elizalde Co resigns as Congressman

It is more fun criticizing

Cong Elizalde (Zaldy Co) has sent irrevocable letter of resignation as  Ako Bikol Party List Representative amidst grave threat to his and family's life, and amidst lack of due process in current flood control anomalies.  Most damning was Orly Guteza testimony before Senate Blue Ribbon committee that directly linked him to the current controversy:  ie delivering suitcases full of money to the latter's residence.

He resigned on the deadline given to him by Speaker of the House Faustino Dy III to return to the Philippines

No one knows the whereabouts of Cos family:  USA or Europe?

Iran Israel war; who is winning? Is the world on a verge of a war? Is US joining the fray?

It is more fun criticizing

Prices of fuel have skyrocketed like the ballistic missiles being fired in the strife torn areas.   With it goes away our prayers for world peace   Trump has not ended Ukraine USSR conflict.  More conflicts are in the offing.

Iran has since countera attacked in the big way vs Israel sending in missiles and drones.  Many areas of Tel Aviv are destroyed.

Is US being drawn into the conflict?

Is Pope Leo X1V the last pope because fo this conflict

What is the world economic fortune going to be?

It is more fun criticizing

Many have called out the dire economic situation in

    1.  UK
    2,  Germany
    3.   Japan
    4.   China
    5.  and even USA
    6.  South Korea
    7.  Saudi will run out of oil in 20 -30 years

US cities on the decline?

Where is the world going to?  Will there be economic chaos and difficulty

Why do so many retail stores close shop in Calfornia - because shoplifting below $950 is just considered a misdemeanor, no a felony

It is more fun criticizing

There has been a rash of closure of retail stores in California, especially in San Francisco because of new California laws that classify stealing below $950.00 as a misdemeanor rather than a felony.  Many say that it is an invitation for shoplifting.   Store owners and managers, employees will not interfere with shoplifting  Police will not bother and so with prosecutors.  The said $950.00 is also the upper limit for embezzlement in offices.

Pity the retailers and and businesses.   Its the death of goose that lays the golden eggs in USA, that keep the American dream alive.

It is wished that the USA laws would be smart and in keeping with the laws of God

Celebrities to leave USA (again?) in case of Trump wins?

It is more fun criticizing

A number of  American celebreties thretened in 2016 to leave USA and live elsewhere in case of Trump victory.   Well most of them did not leave saying it was for a show or joke, or others saying they have a contract in USA.

Again there were those who repeated the same dialog.   Will they do this?

Does he deserve the respect of the rest of the world? Why did his countrymen elect him to be pitied today?

It is more fun criticizing

It is sort of cruel to watch an elderly leader commit this gaffe.  It is pitiful.   He wont get the respect of the rest of the world.  And his people also laughing stock.  We are glad we are from this country and not theirs.

Why are Filipino OFWs coming home (reverse brain drain)

It is more fun criticizing

For most countries this signalled the start of progress of the host countries like Tawian or China.

Why are they coming home?  No more American dream -  homelessness, joblessness abound in US Canada.   Opportunities now abound in Philippines

Fmr head of Comelec, 3 others indicted for bribery charges in USA, long arm ol law caught up with

It is more fun criticizing

The latest news is that former head of Comelec Andres Bautista has been indicted (charged) with bribery charges in USA together with 3 others.

The allegation is that this is related to the procurement of election machines.  The long arm of the law caught up with them.  Are there cases related to bribery during the election

Are the .....ic elected candidates true?

Why are COMELEC bosses linked to anomalies?  Are temptation too great.

Why do we post USA articles for an intended Philippine audience.

It is more fun criticizing

"When an elephant sneezes, the ants tremble"

So when US hiccups, the weaker smaller economies panic.  So we have to know what the elephant is doing, or its current condition.

The little things that happen in USA reverberates, has a large impact on countries like the Philippines.   A travel advisory can drive away tourists from Philippine destination  and adversely affect the economy.  A shortage of nurses in USA means much to Philippine nursing graduates, and nursing schools

That is why.  Ants can bite back too.

Is USA following the path of fallen empires?

It is more fun criticizing

History is full of stories of empires, its rise, its height, and eventual decline.   Persian, Ottoman, Russian, British, Alexander the Great.

Empires come and go.

Is USA an empire?  Is it on a decline with high rates of crime, woke, homelessness, drug addiction, high levels of debt (preceded by too much war footing)

Judge for yourself.

President Biden's bad performance in US Presidential debate and gaffes - are they good for USA and reelection

It is more fun criticizing

Pres Biden was highly criticized for his very poor performance in US Presidential Debate with former Pres. D. Trump -  sometimes hesitating, blundering, incoherent.   Signs of dementia; cognitive decline

Elsewhere he did not do well in radio interview -  mixing up his thoughts regarding working with black Pres, and black woman VP.    The gaffes are sometimes pitiful.

There have been clamor for him to stop his reelection bid from his own party and have him replaced by the VP

Are this gaffes and signs of old age minor, or is it bad for his campaign and his stature as Pres of USA, to the rest of the world who look up to USA.?

We are the world; we should live in a world without borders

It is more fun criticizing

Rizal Philippines
July 22, 2018

It is Sunday and the rains continue to pound us (has been for the last 3 weeks).  It reminded me a post I should have made weeks ago.

Three weeks ago I met a Malaysian, an in law of one of our companions who is an Englishman from Malaysia and who said he is a Marxist communist.  He wonders why there is such a big fuss over the plight of migrants, and those refugees waiting for aid from EU countries.  He said we live in one borderless world

Yes indeed, as the song of Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson    We are the World  and others say, we are the world.  We live in a one world.  Trade and travel internet makes this world one community.  Yet in a shocking display of parochialism, countries and nations impose borders and limits.  EU makes such a reality but EU against the world.  ASEAN makes it a borderless region among member nations.  And there are many countries, who offer visa less travel albeit for a limited time to their shores as Taiwan and HK.

MDs without border is truly admired for doing humanitarian work everywhere in the world where is health problem and even in countries at war. Truly why not just one world.  A world without borders.  A world without hatred for other nations... (Of course  that is Utopian)   MSF   Medici san Frontiers

And yet what do we see now:

1.  Refugees from Africa and Syria being denied assistance by member countries of EU:  France, Europe, Germany

2.  Widespread trade war being promoted by USA vs China and Europe thus slowing trade and growth.
We are on verge of another real war after the trade war

But there are many things which we would like to do together:  United Nations, fight vs nuclear weapons, fight  vs global warming

Countries promise aid to the PHL

Social and political criticisms

From Washington post - US pledges $20 million and sends  USS George Washington;

UK promised 10 million pounds and  and C 17 to transport the aid.

Australia sends 10 million Australian dollars;

UN World Food program  2 million dollars;

Japan 10 million dollars

China $200,000 Huawei I learned is sending mobile telephone exchanges to help restore phone lines

Jose Mujica - the poorest President, of Uruguay in an interview with Al Jazeera

Social and political criticisms

October 29, 2013

Pres Jose Mujica interview at Al Jazeera

I watched the interview of President Jose Mujica last night at Al Jazeera.  And he is an admireable and outstanding man and leader. He is more than a leader - as the hostess said, he is a philosopher.  By all means, he is described to be outstanding.

He is described as the world's poorest President. He says that he has more than enough.  Those are poor are those who want too much.  He gives 90% of his salary to charities, like housing for the unwed mothers.

He surprised the whole world by having his country legalise marijuana (in some parts of USA, in some states, sale of marijuana is legal.  It considered a cure for many diseases)  He says he did it because other strategies do not work.

He used to be a member of Tupamoro in 1960s  which later created the MLN (Movimiento Liberacion Nacional) which did a Robin Hood style of armed propaganda.  He was a man of few words and disliked explosives and other inhumane war tactics.  Tupamoro was the first insurgent organization that fought fellow men rather than foreigners.

Other observations:

1.  He is not against consumption per se but the waste that goes with it.  Why have four cars to sit out the traffic, when the rest of the country can not survive;

2.  USA, and USA is not alone, is a policeman to the rest of the world and that has led the country in many trouble by having too many enemies.

3.  USA will be conquered by the rest of America through the wombs of the women of Latin America, albeit slowly

4.  If we live and consume like the rest of Americans, we will need three planet earth to provide for everyone

5.  When he retires as a President (and it will in one year) he will return to agriculture, and even convert his farm into an agri school

6.  You must live like the rest of the world, not like a king.

7.  He respects the current Pope because of the language and the Christian tradition and his heart goes for the Pope because of the humility and honesty of the Pope Francis who hails from South America. He says that the Catholic church is the last of the court yard of the Medieval tradition

8.  He calls himself a republican that of being equal to the others and no one is above the rest (hence the deep sense of humility)

He disdains luxury and still drives this old VW
